May we keep the BIBLE as our plumb~line for truth and jealously guard its unchanging and immutable integrity. May we hold fast to the faith once offered to the saints in Scripture and speedily reject anything which may compromise its veracity ~ Cβ’SBG

Hebrews 11:1 ~ Faith is the substance of things HOPED for, the evidence of things not seen
May the hope we have in Christ and the faith we have in God be built on the truth, of His Word and grounded on a sure conviction. May we never stumble when situations seem to go amiss, and may we be firmly persuaded: "He who started a good work in each of our lives is well able to bring it to completion."

Hebrews 10:23~25
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

John 15:19 ~ If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you

The Rapture β How Long Till We Fly?
Tim Moore and I will take up the question of the imminent rapture. How long do we have? Can we see the day approaching? Can we recognize the general season? Do we have weeks, months, or years left before we meet the Lord in the clouds? How do we encourageβ¦

The Command to Love
Romans 13:8
Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law
Galatians 5:14
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself
2 John 1:6
And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it

With Jesus as our pattern of godly living and the model of divine love, should not we seek to imitate His goodness and grace? NOT in our own strength, but in the supernatural strength that He supplies, through the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit: "Without me, You can do nothing." Without ME, You cannot love as I have loved. BUT: "I can do all through CHRIST, Who strengthens me, in the power of His Holy Spirit."

Philippians 1:27 ~ Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
God forbid that I should glory, except in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

Lamentations 3:22-23 assures us of God's unfailing love and abundant mercy. It reminds us that His faithfulness is not limited by our circumstances or failures. Each new day is an opportunity to experience His grace and compassion.
His steadfast love never ceases,
His mercies never come to an end.. His gracious compassion is new every morning ~ how great is the faithfulness of our gracious God

The error behind all error is being so married to an idea that historical facts, grammatical facts, exegetical facts, and plain statements of Scripture are swept aside with a cavalier wave of the hand.
If we go to bedrock in our investigations, we can't be led astray for very long or very far by the cool-sounding winds of doctrine that regularly blow through the church.
If we don't go to bedrock, and vet the winds of doctrine with superficial efforts, we guarantee that not only will we be wrong on some of them, but we will be beyond correction.
