There is only one error that the religious make. Running with a narrative which is "proved" with selective evidence and ignoring the evidence which indicates that the narrative is false.

Returned last night from the East Coast Pastors Conference at Calvary Chapel Philadelphia. Wonderful time of fellowship, ministry, and music. Nothing like hearing 1600 men singing hymns and classic worship songs. Heard some great messages. Really appreciated Sandy Adams' message on Moses' staff becoming the staff of God. Kudos to Joe Focht and the crew at CC Philly that orchestrated the conference.

Don't play the Holy Spirit card. It is wrong for men to present supposed objective evidence for what they believe, then retreat to the leading of the Holy Spirit when men answer their supposed objective evidence with substantial objective evidence. If you run from objective evidence and slap the label of the Holy Spirit on your beliefs, you are tacitly admitting that you care more about the "facts" than the facts. This is not the leading of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit always embraces the full use of our God-given reason, and all the facts (historical, grammatical, exegetical).

Are the god and message of postmillennialism the God and message of the Bible?

The entire story of the Bible is not mortal man redeeming what was lost in the garden. How can anyone think this? Man can't redeem himself. Man can't fix his own problems. Man can't fix the world's problems. We have six thousand years of history shouting this from the housetops.

The entire story of the Bible is the promised seed of the woman (the Messiah, the seed of David, God manifest in flesh) redeeming man through his work on the cross at his first coming and his work on the throne at his second coming.

When I exposed the 2030 Messiah and the theory of a 2023 rapture based on it, hundreds of folks wrote nasty letters to me. Many of them guaranteed a 2023 rapture and warned me that I was quenching the Spirit and doing the work of the devil. They didn't care that I allowed that the rapture could happen in 2023 based on general convergence. Their eyes were on the cool theory, not convergence in general. I find it interesting that only a couple of the haters wrote back and apologized when the theory went belly up. As the old proverb says, "I have hated you ever since I wronged you." Sadly, they could have easily figured out that this theory was bogus. It was simply a matter of carefully analyzing the entire argument and noticing the historical and mathematical mistakes that it made.
