THOUGHTS ON THE TARIFFS

Many have expressed fears that America is going to see accelerated inflation and hardship because of the tariffs, both threatened and imposed, and they fear that they will lead to the economy imploding. They have pointed to the recent stock market crash and blamed the tariffs. I think this is a mistaken understanding of what is going on. I suspect that most don't understand what the purpose for the tariffs is and what the most likely result will be.

While there could be problems if the tariff effort fails, what is most likely going to happen over the course of the upcoming months is that many nations are going to go to the bargaining table with Trump to avoid the pain of steep tariffs hammering their economy. They will eventually hammer out trade deals that will narrow the trade deficit for America, strengthen our economy, and strengthen the economies of those who play nice.

What must be understood is that the tariffs are not an end in and of themselves. Nor are they a NWO agenda to destroy the world's economy. They are an American strategy to decrease America's trade deficit, increase investment in America, increase American manufacturing, increase American mining, increase American employment, and strengthen the American economy. The tariffs are a battlefield strategy designed to force other nations to change their economic strategies. They were imposed knowing full well that they would ultimately cause nations to back down on their tariffs, increase their purchases of American goods, and thus reduce America's trade deficit.

We have seen evidence of this in the past few weeks, and we will see more in the future. The tariff ploy, barring some unforeseen disaster, will prove a huge boon to America in the next few years.

If you compare the relevant passages in the Hebrew OT, the LXX, the Greek NT, and Koine/Jewish Greek usage in the centuries prior to the penning of the NT, you will discover that both dunamai (powers) and stoicheia (elements) were used for the planets. This is in keeping with the fact that the ancients worshipped the sun, the moon, the stars, and the five visible planets. The worship of the seven moving lights was the heart of ancient idolatry. This pagan fixation led to the days of the week in many of the world's languages being named after the seven moving lights. MOONday, TEUTATESday, WODENSday, THORSday, FRITAday, SATURNday, SUNday.

Finally home after five weeks on the road. Two days off, then head to Philadelphia for the East Coast Pastor's Conference. Asking prayers. Throat is still a bit tender. Haven't quite shaken whatever is in my upper chest.

While the many transliterations in our Bibles have served us well, and sincere students of the Bible find them serviceable, there is an advantage when we are familiar with the actual translations. So instead of apostle, we have envoy or emissary. Instead of angel, we have messenger. Instead of prophet, we have foreteller. And instead of baptize, we have immerse or submerge. If we are not at least aware of the literal translations of these terms, we are susceptible to church tradition at the expense of the teaching of the Bible.

Are the new heavens and earth a dissolution of the current creation and a second ex-nihilo recreation? Or are they a renovation of the present earth by fire and earthquake and a renovation of the current heavens through a polar shift which changes the stars and constellations that we see? Many arguments from the Old and the New Testament are presented. Friends have told me that this is the fullest treatment they have seen on the subject.

Hey friends. I am still recovering from my head cold, congestion, chest ache, and laryngitis. So I won't be doing any new videos or livestreams for the next week or so. I am saving my voice for the East Coast Pastors Conference next week at CC Philly. Thankfully, I am on the mend. There is no doubt in my mind that I will be all systems go for next week. Psalm 9:9~10

There is only one error that the religious make. Running with a narrative which is "proved" with selective evidence and ignoring the evidence which indicates that the narrative is false.
