▪️ The defense-industrial system has made tremendous progress: compared to 2022, the production of barrel artillery ammunition, MLRS, and other types has increased by 50 times. The production of light armored vehicles has increased by 5.5 times, and tanks by almost 7 times.

▪️ In the aircraft industry, there are already 18 MC-21 passenger aircraft in various stages of production. The first deliveries will begin in 2024. At the same time, a flight of the "import-substituted" SSJ-100 with Russian PD-8 engines, created in record time, is planned.

▪️ In the energy sector, a significant event was the delivery of the first domestic high-power turbine GTD-110M. Previously, Russia was heavily dependent on General Electric and Siemens for this position, but now a domestic serial analogue with similar characteristics has emerged.

▪️ In the transport sector, more than 200 electric charging stations were installed in 2023, and KAMAZ is testing unmanned trucks. Currently, there are 6 such tractors on the highway between Moscow and St. Petersburg, and this number will increase to 18 in 2024. KAMAZ was also able to quickly replace over 2,300 Western components.

▪️ In the medical industry, Rostec enterprises produce over 150 types of equipment. The Shvabe holding has created the first Russian HIFU therapy device for ultrasound treatment of tumors, and the Nacimbio holding has developed a highly purified immunoglobulin against hepatitis B.

All of this represents a real industry with real import substitution. Yes, there are difficulties: in some cases, production lags behind plans, and in others, it is not immediately possible to create a model with excellent characteristics or replace foreign components.
