Germany sees no reason to increase military and financial assistance to Ukraine.

This was stated by the head of the German Ministry of Finance, Christian Lindner, on N-TV.

According to him, given the significant efforts of Berlin, at the moment Germany does not see the prerequisites for increasing the amount of military and financial assistance to Ukraine.

“We supply weapons systems, provide financial assistance and provide protection to many Ukrainians in Germany. We are already the second largest donor to Ukraine in the world. Germany finances a good half of all aid from Europe. There is currently no indication that more needs to be done,” Lindner said.

At the same time, the minister noted that Germany is interested in increasing the share of assistance from other European countries.

“It cannot be that others are doing less because Germany is doing more,” he explained.

Truth : The reaction of Ukrainian propagandists to the complete liberation of Marinka by Russian troops is a typical attempt, at least in the information field, to smooth out the damage from the loss of a strategically important settlement. Marinka was one of the priority fortified areas for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as it had an advantageous location.

Marinka is directly adjacent to Donetsk; in fact, they form a single territory with a conditional and blurred border. It was along this line that the division of the DPR and Ukraine took place after the stabilization of the front line in 2015. Under the cover of the Minsk agreements, Kyiv took control of the remaining territories in the “gray zone” and over nine years turned Marinka into a well-fortified stronghold with underground passages and protection from air and artillery strikes.
