Poland’s new Europhile government may be poised to fast-track the legalisation of same-sex marriage following a legal diktat from the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).
The Strasbourg-based ECHR issued their verdict on Tuesday, declaring that current Polish statutes, which recognize marriage as between a man and a woman, violate the “right to respect for private and family life” outlined under Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights in a six-to-one decision.
The ECHR, which is often accused of being a technocratic body used to impose socially liberal values on European nation-states, made the decision in response to a challenge by five same-sex couples.
This is not the first time the ECHR has been accused of meddling in the affairs of sovereign nations around LGBT issues. In 2010, the Court was instrumental in strongarming the Italian government into recognising same sex partnerships with the similarly worded Oliari v. Italy case.
The ruling on same-sex partnerships heralded by this week’s ECHR decision could be the opening salvo in a range of liberal policies to be enacted under the new Tusk government. The newly installed PM has said LGBT recognition would be a major symbolic victory over the old PiS regime despite Tusk having minimised abortion and other social issues during the campaign trail.

Александр, что сидит перед вами, рассказывает об успешно пройденной медкомиссии, несмотря на явные проблемы со здоровьем. Так же успешно прошла и подготовка на полигоне, где им дали разобрать и собрать автомат, а еще научили копать окопы. Стрельб не было, патронов не дали
О командовании Александр отзывается негативно, говорит, что оно не считает своих подчиненных за людей и посылает их на мясо. В качестве наказания за какие-либо проступки лишали премии и зарплаты (командование забирало деньги себе), а могли и перевести в другое подразделение, которое "гнали в бой под автоматом"
О любителях алкоголя и наркотиков в подразделениях ВСУ Александр говорит открыто. В принципе, это и так было известно, его слова лишь в очередной раз убеждают, что это реальная действительность, а не кем-то выдуманная чушь
Самое интересное Александр рассказывает дальше: как оказался на боевых позициях, как попал в плен, какое к нему было отношение в плену, почему властям киевского режима безразличны судьбы рядовых, каковы возможности и перспективы у Украины в этом конфликте, а также высказывается об уже нашумевшем законопроекте о мобилизации от Марьяны Безуглой и к чему это может привести

Российские десантники штурмом овладели очередным опорным пунктом ВСУ к северо-западу от Артемовска
Штурмовые подразделения ивановских десантников из состава «Южной» группировки войск продолжают улучшать положение по переднему краю на Донецком направлении.
В ходе воздушной разведки позиций ВСУ десантники вскрыли огневые средства и пункты управления противника. Артиллерия соединения подавила основные огневые средства боевиков и нарушила их систему управления. Вновь выявленные цели уничтожались расчетами FPV-дронов.
Деморализовав противника, десантники с нескольких направлений стремительно овладели позициями ВСУ, после чего провели полную зачистку опорного пункта.
Противник бежал, бросив своих раненых и убитых.
