Although Prime Minister Netanyahu said Israel has no plans to invade the Gaza Strip after the war, advertisements by Israeli construction companies indicate that the government in Tel Aviv may have other plans.

The state-backed construction company HareyZahav recently posted advertisements about building settlements in the Gaza Strip.

The company's official social media accounts have featured promotional posters with images of villas built on the ruins of the Gaza Strip.

"Wake up, a house by the sea is not a dream!". The advert published under this headline, spoke of "preparing" for the company's return to the Jewish settlement of Gush Katif in the south-west of the Gaza Strip, which was evacuated in 2005.

"A group of our employees are embarking on development work in the region, we are clearing away the ruins and driving out the occupiers."
