Airborne assault units captured strongholds of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

In the Kremennaya area, the assault group of Russian Airborne Forces successfully carried out the task of destroying strongholds in the Kremensky forest. After inflicting fire damage on positions of the Ukrainian militants with cannon and rocket artillery, assault groups of paratroopers advanced to the positions of the enemy to capture and hold them.

Showing courage, bravery and military cunning, the paratroopers quietly approached the militants’ strong point from several directions and, throwing grenades at the observation post, immediately burst into the trenches the enemy. Subsequently, acting in a coordinated manner, applying the acquired skills during many days of training and exercises, the warriors of the ‘winged infantry’ rapidly advanced along the fortification, destroying the enemy with small arms and hand fragmentation grenades, who tried to hide from them in dugouts ‘fox holes’ or escape. The enemy was surprised by the daring and decisive actions of our paratroopers, as a result of which many Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers threw down their weapons and surrendered. The Ukrainian soldiers who resisted were liquidated.
