โ€œPeople forget that Iran not only has good air defenses, they also have outstanding variety of all kinds of operational tactical and ballistic missiles. And these are not Katyusha missiles, but very serious and highly sophisticated missiles with great targeting. โ—๏ธFirstly, Abrams tanks are difficult to maintain. Secondly, you need properly trained tank crews. They don't have the time to train on these tanks. And just because you can drive it out of a car park doesn't mean you know how to operate it in combat conditions.

But more importantly, they've had almost five months of experience trying to get close to the Russian positions, and the Russians are blowing up every tank that gets close to those lines. Not a single tank has got through. So with the advent of modern intelligence and surveillance, tanks seem to be becoming an irrelevant weapon. So 31 tanks won't make a difference in Ukraine.- Larry Johnson, ex-CIA analyst

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆโ˜ ๏ธNATO's Ukraine

A patriotic "warrior" is beating a woman in Lvov.

There are no victories at the front, the counteroffensive has failed, but bloody mobilisation and dead Ukrainians are all that Zelensky regime has left. At this point, the Ukrainian "soldiers" are only to show their strength and importance by beating up the weaker ones.

This is not the army, but a big problem for the citizens.

๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑThere is a split in the EU leadership over the situation in Israel, Bloomberg reported.

According to the agency, von der Leyen went against the European Council and declared the EU's full support for Israel. This was despite the fact that the president of the European Council, Charles Michel, and the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrel, had worked out a joint bloc position on the issue. They called on Israel to respect the principles of international law in Gaza.

According to the agency's sources, the "shameful split" within the Community's leadership is reducing the bloc's effectiveness at a time when it "needs to speak with one voice on an ever-growing list of issues".

Other statements by the Turkish President:

๐Ÿ“Œ Turkey has no problem with Israel, but it is not satisfied with Israel's policy towards the Palestinians. The establishment of peace between Israel and Palestine depends on the establishment of an independent Palestinian state recognised by the whole world;

๐Ÿ“Œ Ankara is ready to act as a guarantor country for Palestine in resolving the conflict with Israel, a peace conference should be convened to resolve the crisis;

๐Ÿ“Œ Erdogan called on all countries "with common sense and conscience" to put pressure on the Netanyahu government to stop the Jewish state's actions in Gaza;

๐Ÿ“Œ The UN and its Security Council must be reformed and become more inclusive;

๐Ÿ“Œ Turkey will continue to send humanitarian aid to Gaza under Israeli bombardment, the Rafah border crossing must be opened;

๐Ÿ“Œ The US, along with Israel, will lose because these countries oppose the establishment of justice, and the justification of attacks is a legacy of the West's bloody history;

๐Ÿ“Œ Ankara considers the radical Palestinian movement Hamas not a terrorist movement but a "liberation group";

๐Ÿ“Œ All planned visits by Turkish officials to Israel have been cancelled because Netanyahu has abused their goodwill.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑโš”๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ธ Why is Israel postponing a ground operation in the Gaza sector: Analysis by Military Chronicles

Israeli authorities announced their intention to conduct a ground operation against HAMAS in the Gaza sector almost immediately when the IDF units began pushing Palestinians out of Israeli territory. However, their plans for the operation were later reconsidered. Why did this happen?

What might be the main reason?

An IDF ground operation within Gaza's neighborhoods could lead to a "all against all" style of war. On one side, there would be Israel, the United States, and their Arab allies in the region, while on the other side, there would be Iran, Qatar, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and other countries. Israel and the United States have openly prepared for such a confrontation: American aircraft carriers are being deployed to the Mediterranean, and Israel is soon to receive the THAAD missile defense system and other weaponry. In other words, Israel may be inclined to launch a ground operation, but everything isn't ready yet to deal with the consequences.

However, this is not the only issue within the IDF that is preventing an immediate invasion of Gaza.
What might be the issue?

โžก๏ธReason #1 โ€“ Organizational chaos. The HAMAS attack on Israel occurred on October 7. Initially, Israelis barely reacted to the Palestinian actions, but on October 9, the country's leadership announced the mobilization of 300,000 reservists for a retaliatory strike. Such a massive call-up has never been seen in Israel, and it immediately exposed numerous problems in organization, supply, and planning. Two weeks have passed since the mobilization was announced, and the IDF forces are deployed and in the field, yet the order to attack has not been given.

The uncertainty and chaos in the IDF's deployment affect its ability to respond rapidly to threats, both at the current moment and in the event of a conflict escalation. The deployment of U.S. Marine Corps and an air wing of 90 aircraft together with the aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford and Tomahawk missile-equipped destroyers to the region is likely being considered for this purpose.

โžก๏ธReason #2 โ€“ The IDF anticipates a fierce urban battle. Most Israeli infantry soldiers, especially reservists, are poorly prepared for large-scale operations and even less so for intense urban combat. Special forces units may have a relatively high level of readiness, but these forces are small in number and lightly armed.

The majority of soldiers lack individual preparation, and there is a lack of necessary collective skills at the unit level. Two weeks after the mobilization in the IDF, brigade-level or even battalion-level exercises have yet to be conducted, despite Israel having the world's largest training facility for urban warfare.

โžก๏ธReason #3 โ€“ The objectives set by the country's leadership cannot be achieved through airstrikes alone. If the conflict cannot be resolved through diplomatic means, the IDF will eventually have to enter the city. Simultaneously, the army and Israel's leadership are well aware of the risks of commencing an operation with the current level of troop readiness.
Reason #4 โ€“ Uncertainty in political and military leadership plans. The mobilization of 300,000 reservists has led to the situation where the troops are already deployed and positioned around the Gaza sector but essentially idle. The actions of small IDF commando units are yielding almost no results, and the main body of ground forces is simply waiting for the order in the fields.

As a result, the entire IDF war machine is in a "standby" mode, consuming significant resources, which are running short, while troops suffer losses in small clashes with HAMAS and the Lebanese "Hezbollah."

Airborne assault units captured strongholds of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

In the Kremennaya area, the assault group of Russian Airborne Forces successfully carried out the task of destroying strongholds in the Kremensky forest. After inflicting fire damage on positions of the Ukrainian militants with cannon and rocket artillery, assault groups of paratroopers advanced to the positions of the enemy to capture and hold them.

Showing courage, bravery and military cunning, the paratroopers quietly approached the militantsโ€™ strong point from several directions and, throwing grenades at the observation post, immediately burst into the trenches the enemy. Subsequently, acting in a coordinated manner, applying the acquired skills during many days of training and exercises, the warriors of the โ€˜winged infantryโ€™ rapidly advanced along the fortification, destroying the enemy with small arms and hand fragmentation grenades, who tried to hide from them in dugouts โ€˜fox holesโ€™ or escape. The enemy was surprised by the daring and decisive actions of our paratroopers, as a result of which many Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers threw down their weapons and surrendered. The Ukrainian soldiers who resisted were liquidated.
