Russia has successfully tested the nuclear-powered intercontinental cruise missile 'Burevestnik', Vladimir Putin said at a plenary meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club.
“The last successful test of the Burevestnik, a global-range cruise missile with a nuclear reactor and a nuclear propulsion system, was carried out,” he noted.
In 2018, addressing thr Federal Assembly, the Russian president had announced the creation of new types of weapons, including the 'Burevestnik', capable of ensuring a strategic balance in the world for decades to come.
"'Burevestnik' is one of the newest weapons systems. According to the Ministry of Defense, we are talking about an intercontinental cruise missile of practically unlimited range with a nuclear power reactor. It is capable of carrying a nuclear warhead. This low-flying, stealth cruise missile is invulnerable to all existing and future systems of both missile defense and air defense."

Tankers of the Western Military District continue to provide fire support to motorized rifle units, ensuring the advance of Russian troops. The fire is corrected using unmanned aerial vehicles, and their cameras record hits.
Tankers widely practice shooting from closed firing positions. They successfully hit targets located at a considerable distance and beyond line of sight. Using coordinates obtained using UAVs, tank crews destroy artillery and armoured combat vehicles, including foreign-made, observation posts, ammunition depots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
