I think Putin is not only excited about the controversy over whether or not and at what level we're going to continue to fund Ukraine. I think he's also fomenting that. Putin and his team doing covert and overt meddling to undermine democracy and bribe political leaders is all a big part of how he sees his role. So when I see people repeating Russian talking points that were first made today about Russia, or that these are points that Putin has gotten, when I see Americans in positions of responsibility saying that we shouldn't support the people of Ukraine, that they're corrupt, I think, "Yeah, they're trying very hard to be transparent and accountable and talk about corruption." Frankly, I don't understand why Americans are siding with Putin. But we've seen it, we've heard it, and we need to fight it.

❗️🇸🇰❌🇺🇦Robert Fico, the winner of the election for the post of Slovak Prime Minister and leader of the Smer party, will not give up his anti-Ukrainian views.

He will stick to them despite threats and blackmail to expel Smer from the Party of European Socialists (PES) in the European Parliament. Such a statement the politician made on the video, which he published in social network.

He said in response to the threat of European politicians that he was ready to go to the exclusion of the party from the Party of European Socialists for the sake of realizing "a truly leftist agenda in Slovakia and the expression of sovereign opinions".

Fico called such threats blackmail and added that he expected to receive congratulations on his election victory, not "undemocratic and authoritarian" threats. The Slovak politician emphasized that his opinion about Ukraine would not change.
