The Russian Armed Forces attacked enemy targets with "Geraniums" during the night. Explosions were heard in Kiev, Nikolaev, Izmail, Belgorod-Dniester, Orlovka, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy, Kirovograd, Dnepropetrovsk and Odessa regions, near which there is a ferry crossing over the Danube.

▪️On the Zaporozhye front, the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to break through between Rabotino and Novoprokopovka with up to one motorized infantry platoon, one armored vehicle was destroyed, the enemy infantry was scattered by artillery fire. Between settlements of Rabotino and Kopani, the enemy tried in several waves to push through the defenses of our troops, heavy fighting is taking place.

In the Belgorod region, 6 enemy UAVs were shot down, several settlements in the Shebekinsky district were fired upon during the day, and a UAV was shot down over the Grayvoronsky urban district. Ex-head of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker called the promises to accept Ukraine into the EU an "outrageous lie"

"You cannot make false promises to people in Ukraine... I am extremely outraged by some voices in Europe who are trying to make Ukrainians believe that they can become EU members immediately. This will not benefit either the EU or Ukraine," he said.

Juncker also added that anyone who has dealt with Ukraine knows that it is a country that is corrupt in all sectors of society. And despite the efforts, it is not ready to join, large-scale reform processes are needed.
