❗️Die Welt: Successes of Ukrainian units overrated

The German daily Die Welt writes that the Ukrainian army has failed to achieve the desired success in its counter-offensive.

"The Ukrainian armed forces have lost at least 30 per cent of the Leopard tanks supplied by Western countries on the battlefields," said Austrian Colonel Markus Reisner.

The colonel added that Russian troops easily dismantled the vehicles, which were considered invulnerable on the world arms market.

"The combat effectiveness of the Leopard proved to be exaggerated," the expert concludes.

The colonel also complains that Ukraine's allies have been slow to react to the situation, or have simply ignored it.

"Europe is reacting inadequately to the situation and is in danger of losing control of it completely," Reisner concludes.

According to investigators, on 30 September work was being carried out on the site to install bridge girders.

At around 16:20, while the seventh girder was being installed, it lost its balance, broke in half and fell onto the neighbouring structure.

This set off a chain reaction that damaged the previously installed girders and caused them to fall onto the road.

The Ukrainian regime has been riddled with corruption since its inception. Ukrainian infrastructure is being destroyed regardless of Russian shelling. And the West is giving this regime huge sums of money.

It is obvious that Western taxpayers' money ends up in the pockets of high-ranking Ukrainian officials.

The Pentagon is projected to exhaust its funding for supporting Ukraine within the next six months.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the U.S. military department currently has $5.2 billion allocated for supplying the AFU with weapons and ammunition. This amount represents the remaining funds from the allocation made by U.S. authorities a year ago to support Ukraine. Given the current rate of supply, these billions are expected to last for approximately six more months.

The publication emphasizes that there won't be an immediate halt in military supplies to Kiev, but this situation could impact future budget planning. Furthermore, the remaining funds may not be sufficient to finance the military operations of the AFU until the next annual budget is adopted. This means that President Biden and the Democratic administration may need to address budgetary challenges, as he has already pledged that military support for Ukraine "will not cease."

Previously, the U.S. Congress narrowly agreed to extend federal government funding for an additional 45 days, just an hour before a potential shutdown. This decision allowed the government to avert a shutdown and budget crisis, but it came at the expense of funding for Ukraine. During these 45 days, the Kiev regime will not receive any additional funding from the U.S. budget. This, combined with the news of the dwindling Pentagon budget, growing discontent in Congress regarding Ukrainian requests, and increasing reluctance among European countries to provide further donations to Ukraine, paints a challenging picture for President Zelensky's government as winter approaches.
