⚠️🇹🇷 EXPLOSION in the center of Ankara this morning!

What is known about the attack in the center of Ankara so far:

➡️Two terrorists approached the gates of the Ministry of Interior building around 09:30 AM Moscow time. One of them detonated the explosives strapped to him.

➡️According to A haber TV channel, the terrorists arrived in a stolen car, the owner of which they had killed.

➡️The security personnel of the agency opened fire on the attackers. A brief exchange of gunfire ensued, during which the second terrorist was neutralized.

➡️Two police officers sustained minor injuries. According to incoming information, there are no casualties.

ℹ️Government Response:

- The Turkish Minister of Interior, Ali Erlikaya, referred to the incident as a terrorist act.

- Explosive ordnance disposal experts and police specialists are on-site. Police armored vehicles with machine gun turrets, their barrels covered, have been deployed in the area. Additionally, police units with plastic shields are present to manage crowds. There are no reports of disorder or any breach of the cordon.

- The police are jamming all radio signals in the area to eliminate the risk of remote bomb detonation if there is a bomb in the vehicle.
Roads leading to the Ministry of Interior and the adjacent parliament building have been closed within a radius of approximately 1 km. Only vehicles of special services and departmental service vehicles are allowed within the cordon.

- The Ankara Criminal Court on duty has imposed a media broadcasting ban.

- Representatives of local and foreign press have been pushed out of the cordon area.

ℹ️About Parliament's Work:

- The attack occurred on the day when the Turkish parliament resumed its sessions, located a few hundred meters from the explosion site, where President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expected to speak.

- The Chief Advisor to the President of Turkey, Akif Chagatay Kılıç, stated that the parliament would resume its work as planned, despite the nearby terrorist attack.

➡️Our country is ready to resume negotiations with the Syrian regime with the participation of Russia and Iran as part of the normalization of relations between Ankara and Damascus.

➡️ We are always ready to sit down and have a dialogue, but the demands of the Syrian side are not something that can be accepted immediately . They want Turkey to leave Syrian territory, but why should Turkey leave?

➡️ The Syrian side does not find time for those who extract and sell Syrian oil, because they are busy only with those areas in which we have established peace and security.

⚠️ We can note that Turkey is finally ready to normalize its relations with the Syrian government since its involvement in the civil war. 🇵🇱❤️🇺🇦❌🇩🇪 Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki called on Volodymyr Zelensky not to trust Germany, because Germany always wanted to come to an agreement with Russia - Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.

"I understand that he (Zelensky) now thinks that he will have a close alliance with Germany. I warn you, the Germans will always want to reach an understanding with the Russians,” Morawiecki said.

He added that since the European Commission did not extend the embargo on Ukrainian grain, the Polish government itself did so.

“Because when it comes to the interests of the Polish farmer, we will not ask the opinion of anyone in Berlin or Brussels. We act for the benefit of Polish agriculture,” he assured.

Morawiecki also called on Ukraine to be grateful for the fact that Poland has sheltered millions of Ukrainians. “We helped most of all at the moment when the Germans wanted to send 5,000 helmets to besieged Kiev,” the publication quotes the Polish Prime Minister as saying.
