❗️Pakistan claims Ansarallah's attacks on Saudi Arabia 'could' trigger Mecca defense pact despite ongoing strikes
Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said in an interview with Geo News that attacks on Saudi Arabia could activate the Mecca Defense Alliance, a trilateral defense pact signed last month by Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkiye, despite ongoing Ansarallah strikes on the kingdom. "We're bound by the terms and conditions of this pact and, God willing, we'll honor this pact if there's aggression. There should be no ambiguity about this," Asif said.
His remarks come amid intensified clashes and Saudi airstrikes on Yemen as Ansarallah continues claiming attacks on Saudi oil and military facilities, carried out in response to intensified Saudi attacks, and which the movement says will continue until the Saudi-led military campaign and blockade are lifted.
Asif stressed that the agreement is defensive rather than offensive and warned that Ansarallah's actions "could make this agreement operational," adding, "We are hoping the situation will die down."
Separately, Asif said he remains hopeful that diplomacy between the US and Iran can still succeed despite the current impasse. "I will not abandon hope," he said, describing diplomacy as a "tight-rope walk" and the situation as slightly better than a stalemate.

—❗️🇺🇸/🇮🇷 NEW: A Pentagon memo states the U.S. awarded an emergency $1.2 million dollar contract to prepare weapons tests for a ‘classified capability’ at a subterranean test range at White Sands National Park, New Mexico
Three sources told CNN that the test plans were linked to Iran and the need to develop a way to target its deepest-buried underground facilities, specifically the Pickaxe Mountain nuclear site.

❗️Statement by the Yemeni Armed Forces:
"Over the past 12 hours, warplanes belonging to the Saudi enemy carried out 48 airstrikes targeting the governorates of Al-Jawf, Marib, Taiz, Hodeidah, Saada, and Al-Bayda, using F-15SA fighter jets that took off from King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait.
A Typhoon fighter jet also took off from King Fahd Air Base in Taif and carried out an airstrike on Al-Jawf Governorate.
These airstrikes and the ongoing aggression against our country will not pass without a response and punishment, by the will and power of God.
Those who commit aggression will face its consequences."

🇮🇷🇺🇸 ‘Dead’ US drone sub IRGC just got will give Iran a crash course in Anduril’s underwater secrets
A CENTCOM spox did his best to downplay the significance of the Anduril Dive-LD surveillance, mine detection, seabed mapping and inspection drone’s capture by Iran, stressing that it was “older,” “defective,” “malfunctioning” and “essentially dead in the water” before the IRGC seized it.
Leaving aside the lie about the system’s age (the US Navy only began fielding them in 2025), the claim about it being “dead” is meaningless. Iran now has one of America’s most advanced autonomous underwater vehicles, and will be sure to pick its brains for a wide assortment of useful info, such as:
➡️ the drone’s mission profile and sensor payload, to determine CENTCOM’s operational priorities, including whatever topographical maps of the seabed or other data it collected
➡️ onboard inertial navigation and comms system architecture, the makeup of electric propulsion and battery systems, energy management, pressure hull structural design, alloy composition and even the tools or tech Anduril uses to keep this AUV class silent
Iran’s engineers – master drone builders in their own right, could even completely reverse-engineer and build their own version of the drone packed with domestic parts and tech. Alternatively, they could cherry pick individual components and incorporate them into existing Iranian designs.
Tehran could even transfer schematics to its SCO partners, undermining the DoD’s ability to monitor active and potential warzones across an area from the Black Sea to the South China Sea.
Whether Iran even finds the Anduril drone’s tech and hardware useful or throws it in the trash as needlessly complicated, unreliable and expensive is anyone’s guess. Iran’s own AUV program is one of the most advanced in the world, and includes everything from the Nazir-1 super-heavy long-range recon drone to the Azhdar-series of mobile smart mines.
As for CENTCOM’s claim that its Dive-LD was “dead in the water” upon capture, sure, whatever makes it sleep better at night. Iran has been hijacking, bringing down and reverse-engineering advanced US drone hardware since at least 2011.

🇾🇪 - The Ansarullah captured the entire Hays direction, and the city of Mocha along the Red Sea coast.
The al-Houthi forces also continued advancing in the al-Wazi'iyah area, southwest Tai'zz countryside in the Mocha direction, having captured the As Safi junction and the height of Qarn Ghurab. Fighting continues for Jabal al-Rawa and the rest of the Bani Omar heights. The loss of the Bani Omar area would be unprecedented, it will lead to the complete encirclement and entrapment of thousands of PLC fighters, mostly from the National Resistance Forces and the Popular Forces (al-Islah Party affiliates).
The map, in yellow, shows the recent Ansarullah advances overnight, a total of 4,402 sqkm of territory fell to the al-Houthi forces.
