โ ๐บ๐ธ/๐ฎ๐ท NEW: U.S. intelligence has assessed that Iranโs latest attack against American positions in Jordan was not meant as a surprise attack, but rather an attempt to provoke the U.S. back into a low-intensity conflict favorable to Iran like in previous weeks

๐บ๐ธโ๏ธ ๐ฎ๐ท The US expended so much air defense ordnance in the war with Iran that Patriot interceptor stockpiles now sit below 1,000 units, with THAAD interceptors at around 250, according to the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).
Pre-war stockpiles stood at roughly 2,330 Patriot systems and 360 THAAD systems โ meaning more than half of each was expended.
Additionally, over 1,000 Tomahawk cruise missiles and 1,100 JASSM missiles were fired, while SM-3, SM-6, and PrSM missile stocks were also significantly depleted.
Replenishment timelines are extremely long โ restoring Tomahawk, THAAD, and Patriot stockpiles to pre-war levels will take more than 3 years, with major Patriot procurement planned for fiscal year 2027 not arriving until May 2029.
This creates a years-long window of vulnerability in the event of a conflict with China in the Western Pacific, and also limits what can be supplied to Ukraine and Gulf vassals.

Fiery Summer: Russian Rescuers Work Around The World
July 2026 proved extremely hot across southern Europe and North Africa. Prolonged high temperatures and dry conditions turned forests and scrubland into highly flammable fuel. Large fires burned in Turkey, Algeria, Spain and Greece, forcing national authorities to seek additional aerial support. As on several previous occasions, Russian Be-200ChS amphibious aircraft and their crews were among the assets deployed.
In late July, major forest fires spread along the Turkish Mediterranean coast, particularly in the tourist provinces of Antalya and Muฤla. Strong winds accelerated the advance of the flames toward settlements and infrastructure. Turkish authorities requested assistance from Russia.
On 23 July two Be-200ChS aircraft arrived in the country โ one from Krasnoyarsk and one from Rostov-on-Don. Crews began intensive operations almost immediately in the most critical sectors around Fethiye and Kaล. The Be-200ChS can scoop approximately 12 tonnes of water from the sea in seconds and release it over the fire. A single aircraft can deliver up to 320 tonnes of water in one continuous cycle of scooping and dropping. During earlier Turkish deployments in 2025 the two aircraft accumulated 242 flight hours. The current contract covers a two-month period, reflecting both the scale of the threat and the established pattern of cooperation.

Drone Attack Sets U.S.-Owned Gas Tankers Ablaze In Egypt (Videos)
An explosion rocked the liquid natural gas terminal at Egypt's Damietta Port as cargo was being unloaded on July 29 afternoon.
According to the Ambrey global security company, a drone hit a United States-owned gas storage tanker, with no injuries reported.
Meanwhle, port services firm Inchcape said in a separate statement that two gas tankers had caught fire at Damietta Port.
The drone hit floating storage tanker Energos Winter, causing a fire that then spread to another vessel, Gaslog Salem, Reuters reported, citing three trading sources familiar with the incident. Two separate security sources say the cause of the blast was a drone strike.

๐บ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ท CENTCOM just announced they lit up IRGC targets across Iran at 10pm Eastern (minutes ago).
Hereโs the official version, cleaned of the usual self congratulation:
At precisely 10:00 PM Eastern on July 29, U.S. Central Command claimed a series of โprecision strikesโ against dozens of IRGC sites inside Iran โ command nodes, missile and drone facilities, coastal radar, and naval assets. They say it was in response to Iranian ballistic missiles launched the previous day at U.S. forces in the region. All those missiles, they insist, were intercepted. More than 50,000 American troops remain on high alert across the Middle East.
The reality is simpler. Iran already told anyone paying attention that any further use of Gulf territory as a launchpad would be treated as participation. Kuwait has allowed itself to become one of those launchpads. If that continues, Kuwaiti soil may not remain sovereign for long. Tehran has the range, the inventory, and the political will to make that a reality. As for the current trajectory Kuwait may well soon find itself as Iranian territory.
Every new round of these strikes tightens the dual strait noose. Hormuz is already running on Iranian forbearance. Bab el-Mandeb is under Yemeni control. Now the Empire is daring the region into a wider fire while its own interceptor stocks and strategic petroleum reserve both run critically low.
Hello $150 oil. Iran will hit back. The only question is how many more โprecisionโ nights the Empire thinks it can afford before the cost arrives at the pump and at the bases that still believe the fairytale they are safe.

A source close to Iran's Ghalibaf says Iran's ballistic missile wave and direct hit on the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan tonight was a preemptive strike to neutralize the joint Trump-Netanyahu war plan being discussed at the White House today.
The source adds Iran deceived the US using the ongoing Iran-Oman talks, with the US having thought Oman mediation had reduced Iranian threat and not anticipating this attack.
