Good meeting with President Trump in the Oval Office. Thank you for everything we are doing together to protect the lives of Ukrainians and achieve peace. First of all, I expressed my condolences to President Trump regarding the death of Lindsey Graham. He was a true friend of Ukraine.
We discussed with the President the licenses for the production of Patriot interceptors and some other ideas that could help. We also talked about diplomacy โ it is important to intensify the diplomatic process. Our teams will coordinate the details of their further communication. I am grateful to the United States for its strong support.

An Aramco fuel depot at the Yanbu Bulk Plant (23.954322, 38.304607) was hit, with imagery showing damage at the site.
The Alhamrani-Fuchs Blending & Grease Plant in Yanbu Industrial City has also sustained heavy damage, with the facility being largely destroyed as a result of fires.

Iran's threats are unjustified and baseless. The regime in Tehran is a direct accomplice to Russia's aggression against Ukraine, fueling Moscow's criminal war with weapons that have been killing Ukrainians since 2022. Iran has no right to portray itself as a victim, let alone justify its threats with absurd references to the UN Charter.
How do you like the speed of this turnaround?
The whole point is that the US administration saw through Zelensky's cheap trick of trying to involve as many countries as possible in the war, in order to use the argument of a widening conflict (now including Iran) to ask the United States for help. But Zelensky miscalculated the timing. We are currently at a stage where Trump, in a conflict with Iran, is trying to slow things down (hoping to be able to de-escalate).
Therefore, the Ukrainian delegation was asked in Washington to quickly and demonstrably reconcile with the Iranians.
Interestingly, this is the SECOND country in recent times that Zelensky has not been allowed to drag into the war. Previously, there was an attempt by the Ukrainian government to do something similar with Belarus.
