VIDEO | 'They beat us, shot at us with rubber bullets, and injected us with substances.'

Alonso Agustin Santos Rivera, a member of the Sumud Flotilla recently pirated by Israeli forces, describes a harrowing pattern of physical and psychological abuse suffered while detained by Israeli forces.

According to his account, detainees were confined to fenced containers and subjected to continuous physical violence, which included being shot with rubber bullets and tasers, targeted with grenades, blinded by intense searchlights, and attacked by dogs.

Rivera notes that "they injected us with substances" and used tightly bound restraints that cut off blood circulation, causing pain so intense they felt they were losing their mind or about to die.

✡️🔊 Ben-Gvir calls for Dahieh to be 'flattened, flattened, and flattened again'

Dahieh is a densely populated southern suburb of Beirut — home to hundreds of thousands of civilians. Israel's National Security Minister wants it erased.

"What hurts them is the Dahieh… The Dahieh needs to be flattened… we need to go after the Dahieh — flatten it, flatten it, and flatten it again," he said.

Finance Minister Smotrich proposed destroying 10 buildings for every drone fired earlier this week.

🇮🇷🇦🇪🇺🇸 In a statement, the IRGC announced that it had shot down a U.S. MQ-1 unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) that attempted to violate Iranian airspace.

However, the MQ-1 Predator has been retired from U.S. military service since 2018, and the UCAV could instead belong to another operator in the region, such as the United Arab Emirates.

🇺🇸🇮🇷❗️NEW: Trump promised a final decision "soon" on a deal to end the Iran war, but Friday's Situation Room meeting closed with no announcement, NYT reports.

- Iran says no final agreement is in hand; Foreign Ministry spokesman Baghaei confirmed message exchanges are still ongoing.

- The proposed deal would end the US-Israeli military campaign in exchange for Iran lifting its Strait of Hormuz blockade — with the nuclear program pushed to later talks.

- Defense Secretary Hegseth, speaking in Singapore, downplayed the deal's imminence and insisted US munitions stockpiles remain ready for renewed fighting.

- Both US Republican hawks and Iranian hard-liners are attacking the agreement — the latter calling it too conciliatory, with Rezaei accusing Trump of excessive demands.

🔊 Iraq was foolish, but Iran is different — Trump

The president calls the Iraq War a disaster — then uses the same logic to justify his own Iran policy.

💬 "If you look at Iraq—that was such a foolish thing, what we did. Shouldn't have been there in the first place… and we shouldn't have been in Iran but they have a capability" to make a nuclear weapon, he told Fox News.

☣️ Weapons of mass destruction were the pretext for Iraq. None existed. Trump calls that foolish. But Iran's "capability" – the same unproven, exaggerated threat – is now his excuse for another endless war.

He sees the mistake. He just won't admit he's making it again.

🚨🇺🇸Gulf states might cut US bases

Iran’s strikes on US facilities in the Arab monarchies have raised serious alarms. Now the Gulf countries are asking if it is worth letting the US launch attacks on Iran from their soil if they get hit in return.

Gulf countries are now seriously considering a bold move. Once the current conflict settles down, they might sit down with the US and say:

💬 "You can use our bases for defence and intelligence — but don’t launch attacks on Iran from here."

Essentially, they could take away the Pentagon’s springboards for offensive action.

Saudi Arabia seems on board with restrictions, while the UAE wants deeper military ties with the US. Even analysts point out that the US itself might rethink some of its bases—after all, repairing damaged facilities isn’t cheap.

🤔 This is exactly what Iran was aiming for. It didn’t necessarily want to destroy the bases physically. Iran wanted to make America’s local allies pause and ask themselves: "Is it really worth it to be a launchpad for US attacks?"

🤥💵 How Trump crony pumped $15M from Israel into US media

The money linked to the Israeli government passed through a firm run by former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale, the Intercept reports.

🔴 Over $500,000 was spent on ads with Salem Media, a major conservative Christian media company where Parscale himself serves as a top executive

🔴 Nearly $5 million went to longtime GOP strategist Mike Shields’ firms, while many staff working on the project came directly from his political consulting network

🔴 Another $6 million funded SparkFire Technologies, an AI chatbot company running large-scale personalized texting campaigns aimed at influencing public opinion

🔴 AI chatbots pushed pro-Israel content directly to Americans, including videos claiming that reports of suffering in Gaza were manufactured

🔴 Some of the campaign’s websites and videos were also designed to shape information consumed by AI systems such as ChatGPT and Claude through publicly available online content

🔴 One more firm that appears to be involved with Parscale’s Israel contract is Jackson Parker, whose Florida chapter was founded by Parscale and billionaire oil tycoon Tim Dunn in 2025

🔴 Dunn, an evangelical billionaire and major Trump donor, promotes Christian governance in Texas while actively funding Israel advocacy campaigns.

All these disclosures emerge as Israel drastically expands its global influence efforts, increasing its public diplomacy budget from $150 million in 2025 to $730 million in 2026.
