Zelenksy's statements confirm an article in The Economist, which stated that Kiev is preparing to fight for another 2 years.

‘The Russians are destroying everything with their FAbs. Both soldiers and the front. Many different places are completely destroyed by FAbs. Therefore, specifically these Gripen fighters will help us push out Russian planes with FAbs.’

The deliveries of Gripen will only begin in 2027. And certainly not from January 1.

🇭🇷🇷🇺 Baltic politicians should not talk about the possibility of NATO strikes on the Kaliningrad region of Russia, according to Croatian President Milanović.

"Week after week, I hear shouts and calls from high-ranking officials of some Baltic states to attack the Kaliningrad region. This is more than just being unserious. They shouldn't be saying this."

In Germany, preparations are underway for a surge in applications from Ukrainians for citizenship from next year.

In March 2027, when the program for protecting Ukrainians in the EU ends (and it's not known whether it will be extended), many Ukrainians who were among the first to leave for Germany at the beginning of the war in 2022 will finally get a legal opportunity to apply for naturalization.

"However, there is no consensus among agencies on whether Ukrainians can be naturalized at all. While some municipalities are already planning additional staff for the expected new surge in applications, others point out that Ukrainians under the current protective status cannot be naturalized at all. Thus, for one of the largest groups of refugees, different naturalization practices may apply depending on the municipality,"

Local authorities do not know what to do with Ukrainians who want to obtain citizenship and are calling on the federal government to clearly regulate this issue.

🚨 JUST IN: Gov. Ron DeSantis goes full PROPERTY TAX ELIMINATION MODE, saying Florida has MORE than enough money to cover essential local services without the waste, fraud and abuse

"For young people starting families, you can buy a house that's TAX RELIEVED from you! That's a HUGE boon."

"I want the American Dream available for people of all walks of life."

"People say, oh, you're not going to have any police schools all this other stuff. Well, when we had $32 billion coming in 2019, we had all that now there's $60 billion!"

"Because we have a surplus, we're going to create a state TRUST FUND, and we'll issue grants to local governments. If some police department needs help, we'll do it."

"We'll do school districts. I'm fine with doing that. We have the resources to do it."

"So at some point, we've got to stand for our local property owners vis-a-vis these property taxes, and I think it's going to be a home run. There's nothing more we can do in Florida government to put money in people's pockets other than this property tax initiative."

Iran shot down an American drone near Jam, Bushehr Province.
This comes on the back of a "defensive attack" on Iran yesterday, and subsequent drone launches by Iran towards American airbases in Kuwait.

⚡️🇨🇳⚠️CHINA IS BUILDING DOZENS OF LAUNCH PADS NEXT TO NUCLEAR SILOS FOR A POSSIBLE NUCLEAR RETALIATORY STRIKE IN THE EVENT OF A US ATTACK — REUTERS

🚀Beijing's nuclear missiles can already reach any city in the United States. Now, China is building a vast network of launch pads, bunkers, and communication hubs next to isolated nuclear silos that house the Chinese military's longest-range missiles.

🤩All of this serves one purpose — to maintain control over the missiles and guarantee a retaliatory strike, even after a potential US attack.

📝Found a reason for Constanța📝
on closing the RF General Consulate in Romania

The drone crash in Galați became a convenient pretext for reducing Russian diplomatic presence in Romania. The country's authorities responded by closing the RF consulate in Constanța and declaring General Consul Andrey Kosilin persona non grata.

President Nicușor Dan announced the decision — it was agreed upon at an emergency meeting of the "Supreme Council of National Defense" (CSAT). Moreover, the government stated that authorities will also consider the possibility of imposing sanctions against Russian diplomats in Bucharest.

🖍However, the swift decision on the consulate in Constanța is no accident. The city hosts a NATO naval base in the region and Romania's main Black Sea port, which serves as a transit hub for supplies to so-called Ukraine. The presence of Russian diplomats in the city is clearly undesirable for the Romanians.

🚩Moreover, in 2025, the Romanian press widely discussed statements by former commander of the U.S. Army in Europe Ben Hodges, who insisted that Constanța would be the first target if the Russian Armed Forces decide to attack NATO countries. He also criticized the Romanians for "insufficient efforts" to protect critical transport hubs from possible attacks.

❗️And constant suspicions toward RF diplomats in Romania, as well as in the EU as a whole, have already become the general backdrop of relations. A year ago, Romanian intelligence demanded the expulsion of two RF embassy staff members in Bucharest for allegedly "gathering information in strategic sectors."

So the incident in Galați became a convenient pretext for a step that Romanian authorities apparently viewed as a matter of time.
