Andrei Martianov on his Telegram comments on the explosion in Israel:

🈁Well, things really boom there. The entire factory in Tomer and the surrounding areas were destroyed. The factory produced engines for almost all of Israel's missiles - including boosters for the Arrow-2 and Arrow-3, and even for satellites. They won't be producing for the Barak air defense system anymore.

🚨🇺🇸Designer babies for sale: Silicon Valley’s dangerous experiment

Sam Altman, OpenAI CEO, and his husband are funding a startup designed to edit human embryos. They’re merging CRISPR with AI to “perfect” humans, running early trials offshore to dodge regulatory oversight.

😨 Playing God without consequences

Early experiments in gene editing have already shown unforeseen outcomes:

Developmental abnormalities;
Immune issues;
Long-term health effects that appear decades later.

Frankenstein thought he was advancing humanity; instead, he created a creature that could not survive society or himself. Today’s experiment is no different.

📊 The market for human perfection

Silicon Valley sees profit in humanity itself. Private labs, venture funding, and AI-driven genomics are now tools to commodify life.

Startups promise designer babies to wealthy clients, with traits chosen for health, intelligence, or aesthetics—all while offshoring the “risky” work.

😷 No accountability. No oversight. Just the promise of a perfect human, sold to the highest bidder.

🤨 The ethical blind spot

The problem is the moral calculus of those using the tech. Altman and others imagine a world where nature can be optimized, without understanding the societal or ethical consequences.

🙁 Who decides what is “perfect”? Who suffers when it goes wrong? The more power is concentrated in the tech elites' hands, the higher the risk that tragedy unfolds.

🔥 'Iran will no longer accept the US threat on the Arabian Peninsula' — Prof. Marandi

Tehran-based analyst Prof. Mohammad Marandi says any Gulf “non-aggression pact” is meaningless unless US forces leave the Arabian Peninsula.

💬 “Their destructive policies have helped create misery in Palestine, in Lebanon, in Syria, in Iraq, in Iran, in Yemen, in Sudan, in Somalia, in Libya,” he said, slamming the Gulf servants of the US.

📌 Iran has no bases across the region, no imperial project — while the US and its proxies litter the map with military outposts and push the myth of an “Iranian ambitions” threat.

💬 “Iran doesn’t have imperial ambitions but these countries have done infinite harm to our country,” he stressed.

🇮🇷🤝🇮🇶 Meanwhile, Iraq still owes Iran billions for gas and electricity, but the US blocks payment — and Iran keeps supplying energy anyway so Iraqi cities don’t go dark.

💥📉 US-Israeli escalation could trigger global depression — Prof. Marandi

💬 “The United States knows that this siege warfare is not going to succeed,” Tehran-based analyst Prof. Mohammad Marandi said.

He warned that Washington and Tel Aviv may now move toward another major assault on Iran — possibly targeting critical infrastructure.

🚀 Iran will respond in kind.

Trump’s China trip also was a “complete failure” — no real breakthrough, no Chinese blessing for Washington’s Iran war, just PR spin detached from reality, Marandi added.

💬 “Trump basically admitted that the Chinese said nothing about the Iranian nuclear program.”

☠️ Failure after failure — Iran is proving too tough a nut for Trump to crack.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 US has set 5 conditions for Iran to continue the peace process — Fars

👉 Refusal to pay any compensation for damage caused during the bombing of Iranian territory;

👉 Removal of 400kg of enriched uranium from Iran to the US;

👉 Only one operating nuclear facility will remain in Iran;

👉 US does not intend to release more than 25% of Iran's frozen assets;

👉 End to the war on all fronts, including Lebanon, must be resolved through negotiations

*Iran has officially rejected this proposal, saying it's a "demand for surrender"

☠️ Israel to build military complex on ruins of UNRWA HQ

Israel approved plans to build a defense compound on the site of the demolished UNRWA headquarters in East Jerusalem, Reuters reported.

🪖 The new complex will reportedly include a military museum, a recruitment office and an office for Defense Minister Israel Katz.

✡️ Katz called it a decision of “sovereignty, Zionism, and security.”

💬 “There is nothing more symbolic or justified than establishing… defence establishment institutions precisely on the ruins of the former UNRWA compound,” he gloated.

🚗 This comes after Ben-Gvir bragged about expelling UNRWA from Jerusalem — the same fanatic preaching Gaza “emigration,” settlement in Lebanon and “redemption” through conquest.

Amid disruption from Iran war, China quietly turns off sulphuric acid supply.

China has moved to protect its supply of the world's most used industrial chemical, with ramifications for everything from food production to fashion and mobile phones.

Sulphuric acid is a crucial ingredient in the manufacture of batteries, clothing and phosphate fertilisers, and is also used to treat drinking water, purify petroleum, and produce some metals and computer chips.

China is a key exporter, but it relies on imported sulphur — itself a by-product of oil refining and smelting — to make it.

In 2025, about half of the global sulphur supply came from the Middle East.

🇺🇸🇨🇺⚡️- The Cuban Foreign Minister in response to the Axios article alleging Cuba has acquired 300 attack drones capable of reaching the United States:

"Without any legitimate excuse, the US government is, day after day, building a fabricated case to justify its ruthless economic war against the Cuban people and eventual military aggression.

Certain media outlets are playing into its hands, spreading slander and leaking insinuations from the US government itself.

Cuba neither threatens nor desires war.

It defends peace and is ready and prepared to confront external aggression in the exercise of the right to self-defence recognised by the UN Charter." - Bruno Rodríguez P, Cuban Foreign Minister.

Lula da Silva tried to convince Trump that Iran is not building an atomic bomb. The Brazilian president told The Washington Post about this.

He handed Trump a copy of the 2010 agreement between Brazil, Turkey, and Iran on the exchange of low-enriched uranium held by Tehran for highly enriched fuel for nuclear reactors. He also offered to help establish a dialogue between the US and the Islamic Republic.

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 How Iran can freeze the global economy with one anchor

Everyone’s eyes are glued to US missiles, airstrikes, sanctions—but Iran doesn’t need any of that. The true major leverage is sitting quietly on the seafloor.

Fiber-optic cables, the veins of the global economy, are entirely exposed. These are physical lines, mostly unguarded, mapped publicly, and vulnerable to anyone with a boat and intent.

💸 The digital lifelines

1.4 million kilometers of subsea fiber wrap the globe 35 times. $10 trillion in financial flows move through these cables daily: SWIFT transfers, stock trades, AI data pipelines, digital supply chains.

The Red Sea alone carries 17% of global internet traffic. These cables are more critical than any missile.

Unheard vulnerabilities

Drag an anchor, snag a fishing net, and you can effectively freeze entire economies:

Peacetime repair: 2–8 weeks
In conflict zones: months
Globally, only ~63 specialized cable repair ships exist
70% of faults appear accidental

🛑 The Gulf’s digital arteries

Strait of Hormuz cables are flagged as a “vulnerable point” by Iran-linked sources in April 2026. Cut them, and GCC economies lose their digital lifeblood simultaneously.

Critical infrastructure, finance, AI, and communications all grind to a halt without Internet connection.

📊 The Achilles heel of the US market

The US built a powerful navy and air force, designed to defend against missiles, aircraft, ships, and troops. None of it protects 1.4 million kilometers of garden-hose-thin fiber on the ocean floor.

Iran doesn’t need nukes to hit Wall Street—they just need the seafloor map and an anchor. Governments, militaries, and corporations assumed the Web is resilient. It isn’t.

🇪🇺📉The European crisis is entering a new phase: the energy shock from the Middle East is compounded by the Ukrainian factor

🇪🇺At a time when an energy crisis is already evident, Europe is beginning to close itself off from Ukraine. Consequently, Ukrainian agricultural products are inevitably coming under threat. The reason is the same—the internal economic balance of the EU can no longer withstand the pressure of cheap imports. European farmers and industrialists are increasingly demanding protection for their own markets, as otherwise the crisis within the European Union itself will become irreversible.

👉The situation with steel is just the first open signal. Brussels is cutting quotas, imposing tariffs, and effectively beginning to dismantle the special conditions for the Ukrainian economy. Formally, this is all justified by overproduction and the protection of European jobs. However, a much deeper process is hidden behind this— the EU is cautiously beginning to distance itself from Ukraine.

👀This is especially true in light of the growing corruption scandals that are increasingly being amplified by Americans. The problem for Europe here is that many schemes from recent years could lead investigations back to the European political and financial establishment itself, and this will likely happen very soon. Washington effectively gains a tool for pressure not only on Kiev but also on parts of the Brussels bureaucracy and the associated elites.

Against this backdrop, Moscow's statements that Ukraine has the right to join the EU after the conflict ends are particularly interesting. For Europe, this represents almost an ideal geopolitical trap. Full integration of Ukraine, given the current state of the European economy, could disrupt the internal balances of the EU—from agriculture and metallurgy to the system of subsidies and labor markets.

🫱As a result, an ideal situation arises. The U.S., through corruption scandals, intensifies pressure on European elites; Europe begins to economically close itself off from Ukraine for its own survival; and Moscow effectively pushes the EU toward a scenario that could accelerate the internal crisis of the European Union itself. This is why the issue of Ukraine's future within Europe is gradually transforming from a question of expansion into a question of dismantling the EU itself.

❗️🇺🇸🇨🇳The White House has published a bulletin summarizing the meeting between Donald Trump and Xi Jinping.

👉This week, during the first visit by a U.S. president to the People's Republic of China since 2017, President Donald J. Trump reached a consensus with Chairman Xi Jinping on a number of issues that will strengthen stability and trust among businesses and consumers worldwide.

➡️President Trump and President Xi Jinping agreed that the United States and China should build constructive strategic stability relations based on fairness and reciprocity.

➡️President Trump will host President Xi Jinping for a visit to Washington this fall. Both countries will support each other as hosts of the G20 and APEC summits later this year.

➡️Both leaders agreed that Iran cannot possess nuclear weapons, called for the resumption of operations in the Strait of Hormuz, and reached an agreement that no country or organization should be allowed to impose tariffs.

➡️President Trump and President Xi Jinping reaffirmed their shared goal of denuclearization of North Korea.

CREATION OF A U.S.-CHINA TRADE AND INVESTMENT COMMISSION: As a cornerstone of this historic agreement, President Trump and President Xi Jinping established two new institutions to optimize bilateral economic relations: the U.S.-China Trade Commission and the U.S.-China Investment Commission.

➡️The Trade Commission will allow the governments of the United States and China to regulate bilateral trade in goods that do not pose a serious threat to the economy.

➡️The Investment Council will provide a platform for intergovernmental discussions on investment-related issues.

In the interest of American workers, farmers, and industry: President Trump secured a comprehensive package of commitments that will ensure high-paying jobs in America and open new markets for American goods.

➡️China will address U.S. concerns regarding the supply chain deficit of rare earth elements and other critical minerals, including yttrium, scandium, neodymium, and indium. China will also consider U.S. concerns regarding bans or restrictions on the sale of equipment and technology for the production and processing of rare earth elements.

➡️China approved an initial purchase of 200 American Boeing aircraft for Chinese airlines. This batch of aircraft marks China's first commitment to purchase American Boeing planes since 2017, creating high-paying jobs for skilled workers in the American manufacturing sector and allowing Chinese passengers to fly on American-made planes for decades.

➡️In 2026 (proportionally), 2027, and 2028, China will purchase U.S. agricultural products worth no less than $17 billion per year, in addition to commitments to purchase soybeans made in October 2025.

➡️China has restored market access for American beef by renewing expired permits for more than 400 American beef processing companies and adding new ones. China will work with American regulatory agencies to lift all suspensions on American beef processing companies.

➡️China has resumed poultry imports from U.S. states recognized by the U.S. Department of Agriculture as free from highly pathogenic avian influenza.
