Ukraine is the only country where the official language of the UN is prohibited from being used in all spheres of life, - Lavrov
▪️The West does not even mention the need to return to observing universal civilizational rules regarding language and religion in Ukraine.
➖"In Arab countries, there is no problem with Hebrew, in Israel there are no problems with either Arabic or Farsi. Wherever you look in the world, where different religions, different traditions and civilizations coexist, but in Ukraine this is possible", - added Lavrov.
▪️Ukraine has exceeded the IMF loan quota six times over the past three to four years.
▪️Moscow will only be happy if Washington and Beijing agree on the supply of American energy carriers.
▪️The Russian Federation is ready to talk with Europe, but it does not beg for a dialogue, plead or chase after anyone.
▪️Russia fulfills all obligations for the supply of energy carriers to China, Moscow and Beijing have extensive agreements.

il prices surged sharply on Friday, while stock markets plummeted after the conclusion of Trump's visit to China without an agreement to end the war with Iran, reports The New York Times.
The price of Brent oil rose by more than 2% to around $108 per barrel. WTI increased by approximately 3% to $104. Since the start of the war in the Middle East, oil prices have risen by 50%, and gasoline and diesel prices in the US have increased by the same amount.
Expectations of a larger-scale energy crisis are growing, while hopes for an end to the war are fading.
Analysts at Deutsche Bank note that markets are losing momentum, as Trump stated that the US does not need to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. His comments intensified investors' fears that the strait will remain blocked for a long time, leading to a "more prolonged energy shock".

🇺🇦🇷🇺 Russian Kh-101 cruise missiles used in the May 13–14 strikes on Kyiv reportedly contained over 100 Western-made components.
Ukrainian experts said the missiles they examined were produced in Q2 2026 and included parts linked to companies like Texas Instruments, AMD, Kyocera AVX, Harting Technology Group, and Nexperia.
It’s another example of how widely Western electronics still end up inside Russian systems, despite sanctions and export controls.
Sanctions do work to a degree, they make procurement harder, slower, and more expensive. But they’re not watertight. Components still slip through via third countries, re-exports, intermediaries, and gray-market supply chains.

❗️Pakistan steps in to facilitate stalled US-Iran talks
Pakistan’s interior minister arrived in Tehran on Saturday to help advance negotiations between Iran and the US, according to Iranian media reports.
“Mohsin Naqvi arrived today in the Islamic Republic of Iran on an official two-day visit as part of Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to facilitate talks and promote regional peace,” Tasnim News Agency reported.
Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni welcomed Naqvi, whose trip comes only days after a visit to Tehran by Pakistan’s army chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir.
Pakistani sources told Al-Arabiya that Naqvi’s visit is intended to help establish a concrete framework for an agreement.
According to the sources, Washington has asked for responses to several issues raised by the US side, while noting that progress has been made on matters related to the Strait of Hormuz.
The sources also said there is no viable alternative to a temporary agreement between Washington and Tehran.

❗️China says US-Bahrain Hormuz resolution 'not helpful'
China’s UN ambassador on Friday criticized a proposed US-Bahraini resolution concerning the Strait of Hormuz, saying both the substance and timing were inappropriate and that adopting it would not be constructive.
The UN-focused news outlet Pass Blue shared a brief clip of an impromptu interview with China’s UN envoy Fu Gong, who said when asked about the resolution: “We don’t think the content is right, and the timing is not right."
“What we need is to urge both sides to engage in serious and good-faith negotiations that can resolve the issue. So passing a resolution at this stage, we don’t think is going to be helpful,” he said.
Fu added that if the decision rested with China the resolution would not be scheduled for a vote.
