The USS Abraham Lincoln could be deployed just off Cuba’s coast, US President Donald Trump said, describing it as a way to pressure the country, a move echoing old-school gunboat diplomacy.
💬 “We'll stop the Abraham Lincoln a couple of hundred yards offshore and we'll watch them wanting to do something,” he said.

❗️China calls US-Israeli war on Iran illegitimate, urges ceasefire and talks
China said the US–Israeli war against Iran is illegitimate during talks in Beijing between Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi, stressing the need to reduce tensions, achieve a full ceasefire, and move toward direct negotiations.
Araghchi welcomed China’s stance condemning the war and said cooperation between Tehran and Beijing will grow stronger.
