🇷🇺🇮🇷 Russia is ready to assist in resolving the Middle East conflict if the security interests of Iran and its regional neighbors are respected, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

Lavrov discussed the rapidly deteriorating situation by phone with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Lavrov reiterated Moscow’s position in favor of rapid de-escalation and a return to a political and diplomatic settlement, with Russia prepared to help facilitate the process.

But now Vance has a way out and can shift all responsibility for the loss onto those who dragged the White House into an unpopular war with Iran.

🔘Information about the real losses of Americans since the escalation is gradually leaking out from the Pentagon, with the number of wounded already in the hundreds. Two-thirds of Americans, or even more, view the conflict with Iran negatively. The energy crisis within the US is escalating.

🔘Fuel prices are traditionally highest in California. However, many swing states—Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Maine—are also affected. In Republican Florida, the fuel crisis is also evident— the state imports a lot of gasoline from Europe and Asia, where the situation is currently grim.

🔘The White House is secretly trying to resume negotiations with Iran but without success. Amid reports of the mine-laying in the Strait of Hormuz, Trump's team has also abandoned any plans to break the blockade. Losing destroyers would be catastrophic for the Pentagon. It's no surprise that some of Trump's circle is already retreating from the lost war with Iran. No one ultimately wants to be the one to take the blame.
