A classified assessment by the U.S. National Intelligence Council concluded that even a large-scale American assault on Iran would be unlikely to topple the Islamic Republicโs military and clerical establishment.
The report, completed about a week before the U.S. and Israel launched their war on Feb. 28, contradicts President Donald Trumpโs stated goal of โcleaning outโ Iranโs leadership and installing a new ruler.
According to officials familiar with the document, U.S. intelligence expects Iranโs system to maintain continuity even if Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei were killed. Established succession protocols within the clerical and military structure are designed to preserve the state.
The report also assessed that Iranโs fragmented opposition is unlikely to take power.

- "It will take 5 to 8 years to build two new AN/FPS-132 radars from Raytheon at a cost of $1.1 billion... Lockheed Martin will need at least 12 to 24 months and, according to our estimates, $50 to $75 million to replace the AN/TPS-59", - Foreign Policy calculated.
- This is further complicated by the fact that 98% of the gallium for the systems comes from China to the global market.

- "Ukrzaliznytsia" reported damage to railway infrastructure after night-time strikes in the Zhytomir, Rovno, and Vinnytsia regions.
- The most serious damage was recorded in the Zhitomir region. The railway track there suffered significant damage due to the impact of a large number of drones.
- Due to the damage, there are delays in trains on various routes.
