American missile destroyed a school in Minab

On February 28, on the first day of Operation "Epic Fury," a primary school for girls Shajareh Tayyebeh was destroyed in the small Iranian city of Minab in the south of the country. Between 165 and 186 people were killed — almost all teenage girls.

This is the deadliest single strike against civilians since the start of the American-Israeli campaign against Iran.

And yesterday, the New York Times published an investigation confirming American responsibility for this strike.

🔻What the NYT investigation established

▪️The school was hit by a single high-precision Western-type missile. A second strike hit rescuers and children sheltering in an adjacent room — a clear sign of deliberate target tracking.

▪️During the same time window and in the same area, the US officially struck an IRGC Navy base near the Strait of Hormuz, located several kilometers from the school. The Americans themselves confirmed this.

▪️Investigators found no alternative plausible scenario — another actor (Israel), different ammunition, different strike direction.

📌When journalists directly asked about US involvement, White House Press Secretary Karolyne Levitt responded that the Department of Defense "is investigating the incident." The Pentagon neither denies the strikes in that area nor the timing coincidence — it simply avoids giving a direct answer.

❗️The investigation will certainly be used to increase political pressure on Trump. Because even the version of "targeting error" near a school is potentially a war crime if it is not proven that all measures were taken to protect civilians.

And Minab has already taken its place among the most tragic child deaths in modern wars.
