Saudi state media are pushing back against what they describe as misleading media campaigns designed to stoke panic and drag Gulf states into a war that is not theirs.

While the US and Israel stand to benefit from escalating chaos in the Gulf, Riyadh is making it clear it wants no part of it.

Here’s why:

🌏 Despite claims of aggression, Iranian strikes on US facilities at King Fahd and Prince Sultan air bases (Feb 28–March 2) caused zero damage to Saudi national infrastructure

🌏 On March 2, Saudi official publicly criticized the US for prioritizing air defense for Israel over protecting Gulf skies

🌏 On March 3, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar revealed Islamabad lobbied Tehran to avoid striking Saudi Arabia—citing a bilateral defense pact—and Iran agreed

🌏 The next day, drones struck Saudi Aramco facilities in Ras Tanura. Western media quickly blamed Iran, but Tehran dismissed the claim as an Israeli false-flag provocation. Saudi Arabia has not accused Iran

Pakistan quietly played its role as a security guarantor, neutralizing a potential escalation through diplomacy. The kingdom wisely avoided being drawn into a conflict that could have ignited a major oil crisis.

The post he deleted said:

After speaking to several direct sources, I now feel confident in reporting that an F-15E Strike Eagle with the U.S. Air Force crashed early Wednesday during a strike mission over Southwestern Iran. The cause of the crash is still unknown, though at least one source attributed it to Iranian air defenses, with both the Pilot and Weapon Systems Officer (WSO) able to successfully eject over Iran.

Following the crash, Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) elements with the U.S and Israeli Air Force - on standby in a neighboring country - were activated, entering Iran roughly an hour after the crash of the F-15. In the resulting operation, both crewmembers were found and safely evacuated without further incident, being transported to Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. The Pilot and WSO are claimed to suffered minor injuries but were in otherwise "good condition," with both being airlifted for further treatment to Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan.

Further confirmation and details of the incident are expected to come at a later time from U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM)

🇺🇸 Bloomberg reports that not everyone in the Pentagon understands the objectives of the operation against Iran.

Some Defense Department officials are questioning the strategy and the ultimate goals of the campaign, while also warning that the conflict could rapidly drain U.S. stockpiles of key weapons.

🇺🇸🇺🇦 Ukrainian F-16 fighters were left without interceptor missiles for more than three weeks, from late November to mid-December 2025, Reuters reports citing sources.

Western partners, reportedly the United States, told Kiev they had no available stockpiles to supply. Ukraine was left with only a small number of AIM-9 Sidewinder air-to-air missiles.

During the same period, Russia carried out at least four large-scale strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, causing widespread power outages and damage to thermal power plants and substations.
