Multiple US outlets report that a Pentagon briefing to congressional staff directly contradicted the White House’s claim of an imminent Iranian preemptive strike.
On Saturday, the White House said U.S. strikes on Iran were based on intelligence showing Tehran preparing missile attacks on American bases that could cause mass casualties.
But on Sunday, Pentagon officials told bipartisan congressional staff there was no immediate threat from Iran unless first provoked by Israel, and no plans for unprovoked attacks on U.S. forces.
They acknowledged Iran’s long-standing missile and proxy capabilities, but made clear that this did not amount to the kind of imminent threat the White House cited to justify preemptive action.

◾A Dutch Diplomat entering Iran via Imam Khomeini Airport in Tehran has raised eyebrows after his refusal to allow his suitcase to go through standard x-ray screening. After following diplomatic protocols, the suitcase was searched by Iranian authorities, revealing Starlink devices as well as other wireless communications tools. So what’s the fuss? Starlink played a central role in the recent coup attempt in Iran. Starlink terminals were used by Mossad and CIA backed saboteurs and terrorists to coordinate attacks on civilian infrastructure and murder civilians and authorities. Under diplomatic immunity, searching a diplomat’s belongings can only happen under extreme conditions. And, communications for diplomats are generally not interrupted by state blackouts in emergencies, meaning there was really no need to bring in Starlink devices.

Sickening how Bibi Netanyahu, was able to flee to Berlin while Israelis were left with the cost of his arrogance, bloodlust and incompetence. What you are looking at is an Iranian ballistic reentry vehicle escorted by a swarm of penetration aids — decoys engineered to simultaneously exhaust and blind every layer of the defensive stack: Patriot in the terminal phase, THAAD in the upper atmosphere, Arrow 3 in space.
