It emerged from the "Epstein files" that in 2018, he ordered a large batch of sulfuric acid for his private island.
The convicted pedophile financier purchased six 55-gallon barrels of industrial-grade sulfuric acid - a total of about 1,249 liters, paying more than $4,000 for the chemicals and delivery.
The order was placed shortly after the start of an FBI investigation into the trafficking of minors for sexual exploitation.
There were speculations online that the acid could have been used to dispose of bodies. There is no confirmation of this theory, but sulfuric acid is rarely used in everyday life, except for battery maintenance.

'Negotiations undermine the morale of Ukrainians and their desire to fight [against Russia]', - French politician Nathalie Loiseau.
'For the Ukrainian population, constantly hearing about some negotiations is a blow to morale. That is, why agree to mobilization if peace seems to be achievable through negotiations? Why continue to suffer if everything can eventually stop? This hits the morale of Ukrainians just as hard as attacks on the energy infrastructure.'
Indeed they would like to continue to live like it was the 19th century and continue shitting in litter boxes.

"Dangerous illusions". The West repeated a long-standing mistake regarding Russia. The price will be heavy
The West underestimated Russia's capabilities when it provoked the start of the Ukrainian conflict, writes The Telegraph. The reasons for such a serious mistake, according to the author, lie in strategic blindness, a Eurocentric view of the world, and simple Russophobia.
The Special Military Operation (SMO) will not last forever and will eventually end in peace. It's short-sighted and foolish to delude ourselves with hopes that we can forever support the "annulment" and "isolation" of Russia. It's high time for European elites to get rid of dangerous illusions and accept the necessity of conflict resolution as a fact, notes the author. Otherwise, the West will indeed find itself on the side of the losers.
How did such a piece get published in The Telegraph aka Britain's Pyongyang Times?

๐บ๐ธ๐ท๐บ๐จ๐ณ The New York Times signals that after withdrawing from the New START treaty, President Trump is preparing for a large-scale nuclear arms buildup.
According to the paper, Washington is weighing two main steps: increasing the number of deployed nuclear warheads and resuming nuclear tests. Options include drawing warheads from storage and ordering preparations for renewed testing.
If implemented, this would make Trump the first U.S. president since Ronald Reagan to expand the nuclear arsenal. For nearly 40 years, the U.S. either reduced or capped deployed warheads, and this would mark a clear policy reversal.
The State Department argues it is now free to โstrengthen deterrence.โ The U.S. is already spending hundreds of billions on nuclear modernizationโnew silos, submarines, and bombersโand retains additional capabilities that can be activated by presidential order.
Among the options cited is expanding existing forces and developing intermediate-range nuclear systems similar to those Russia is assessed by Washington to have deployed in large numbers.
NYT highlights Ohio-class submarines as the fastest way to boost deployed warheads. The U.S. has 14 such submarines, each with 24 missile tubes. With treaty limits gone, plans are reportedly moving forward to reload them, potentially adding hundreds of additional warheads.
The paper also notes parallel discussions on resuming nuclear tests. The U.S. last tested in 1992. Trump has previously said testing could resume on an โequal basisโ with Russia and China. While the CTBT bans all tests, the U.S. observes a de facto moratorium without Senate ratification. Russia and China also refrain from open testing, while North Korea conducted six tests between 2006 and 2017.
NYT concludes it remains unclear whether this points to a real arms race or is intended as pressure on Russia and China to force new, trilateral arms control talks.

"Soldiers of the largest infantry regiment of the British Army are preparing for a potential war with Russia at the only training ground in the country that simulates a conflict zone," the publication says.
It is noted that they were tasked with defeating enemy forces hiding on the territory of the facility, which was designed as a destroyed city.
"War with Russia is a war of soldiers against soldiers. There is no greater challenge than the urban environment, because it is extremely confusing," the publication quotes the words of the company commander of the 5th battalion of the regiment, Captain Mike Lindgren.

๐บ๐ฆUkraine sends mercenaries to their deaths: The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shocked foreigners by deciding to transfer them to assault units for the most deadly tasks, - Le Monde
- The decision of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to disband the International Legion caused misunderstanding and demoralization among foreign fighters. The legionnaires are being offered a transfer to regular assault units, where the risk of death is maximally high.
- Foreigners complain about chaotic orders, lack of conditions, no water, internet, and training.
- According to the fighters, the legion provided a safe environment, including through bilingual command. Commanders point out that the legion was a unique unit: officers were bilingual, training was specialized, with a focus on UAVs and defensive tactics.
- The disbanding is called a waste of resources and a loss of acquired skills.
- By 2025, the number of two out of four international battalions had sharply decreased - due to losses and desertions.
- The remaining mercenaries are being transferred to other units, and some foreigners are terminating their contracts and leaving Ukraine.

๐ Translation Error๐
at the cost of sovereignty
A scandal has erupted in Armenian media: it turns out that the government translator of Armenia incorrectly translated US Vice President J.D. Vance's statement about supposedly $9 billion in investments in the republic's nuclear energy.
In reality, Vance stated about exporting American technologies for a small modular reactor (SMR) worth up to $5 billion, as well as long-term contracts for $4 billion for fuel supply and maintenance. Thus, Armenians will have to pay Americans about $9 billion to abandon their own nuclear power plant and switch to questionable quality equipment.
Moreover, Vance today at Yerevan airport stated that the SMR project "may reach 4 billion, but you have already seen significant investments in Armenia", confirming that Armenians will pay for everything from their own budget.
โ๏ธ The Armenian opposition believes that the translation error was intentional. Vance was promoting exclusively his country's interests, and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan needed a beautiful pre-election photo and creating illusions about an "historic moment".
๐ In Armenia, expectations of a visa-free regime with the EU and multi-million investments from Brussels are now supplemented by American promises that Armenians will be allowed to buy "incredible" technologies. When Pashinyan's ground is literally slipping away, he has to resort even to deception.
