Why are Americans upset?
The U.S. Department of Justice has once again published a large batch of documents related to the scandalous and now deceased millionaire Jeffrey Epstein.
The disclosure was made under pressure from a new law that received unanimous support in Congress and required the Justice Department to publish all non-classified documents on the Epstein case within 30 days.
๐ป What's new and interesting this time?โช๏ธ This time, Bill Clinton stood out โ in new photos he is either in a hot tub with an unknown person, or with a girl on his lap, or in a pool with Epstein's already convicted assistant Ghislaine Maxwell.โช๏ธ In the video surveillance room of his New York townhouse, Epstein kept a portrait of Clinton in Monica Lewinsky's blue dress.
The portrait was painted by Australian artist Petrina Ryan-Clyde in 2012.โช๏ธ The Rolling Stones lead singer Mick Jagger and Microsoft corporation head Bill Gates often appear in "Epstein's photos".โช๏ธ Donald Trump's name appears in one flight log. The president flew from Palm Beach, Florida to Reagan National Airport with some Marla, Tiffany, and Nanny.โช๏ธ There is also a photo of Epstein with a girl holding a check with Trump's name. Court documents mention a connection between Mar-a-Lago property and Epstein's victims.โช๏ธ The materials include testimony and documents where Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence is mentioned as a place where Epstein "recruited" at least one of his victims who worked in the spa or locker room.
๐ป Did the publication achieve its goal?โช๏ธ Everything would be fine, but most of the published materials contain extensive redactions โ some documents are solid black rectangles, and one file is completely blacked out.
This was the work of Trump ultra-loyalist Attorney General Pam Bondi โ by law, she has the right to hide sensitive information whose disclosure could threaten U.S. national security.
Democrats in Congress, along with ordinary Americans, are already furious โ there are no serious evidence of important people's involvement in Epstein's crimes in the documents โ and if there were any, they were carefully cleaned up by Pam Bondi in the "interests of national security".

The Wall Street Journal reports that the U.S. has drafted a 32-page reconstruction blueprint for Gaza, called โProject Sunrise,โ aimed at transforming the destroyed enclave into a high-tech coastal metropolis.
According to the WSJ, the plan was developed over the past 45 days by a team led by Ivanka's Twink and Trump's real estate agent, with involvement from senior White House aide Josh Gruenbaum, input from Israeli officials, and consultations with private-sector contractors.
The proposal, circulated as a โsensitive but unclassifiedโ PowerPoint presentation, has already been shown to prospective donor governments, including wealthy Gulf states, Turkey, and Egypt, U.S. officials told the Journal.
The plan envisions moving Gazaโs population โfrom tents to penthousesโ and โfrom poverty to prosperity,โ but notably:
โข It does not specify where Gazaโs ~2 million displaced residents would live during reconstruction
โข It does not name which countries or companies would ultimately fund the project
โข It assumes a post-war political and security environment that U.S. officials themselves say may never materialize
The total projected cost is $112.1 billion over 10 years, with the United States positioned as an โanchorโ backer, committing to roughly 20% of total costs through grants and debt guarantees.

An assassination attempt on a high-ranking Russian Armed Forces officer occurred in southern Moscow. On the morning of December 22, a Kia Sorento was blown up in the courtyard of a building on Yaseneva Street, with Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov, head of operational training at the Russian General Staff, behind the wheel.
The explosion occurred at the moment the vehicle started moving. The car sustained serious damage, and the lieutenant general was extracted from the cabin with severe shrapnel wounds and fractures and taken to the hospital, where he subsequently died from his injuries.
