Saudi Arabia and Syria have agreed to resume diplomatic ties, where the flurry of political activity comes ahead of Arab League’s next summit in Riyadh on May 19.

Saudi Foreign Minister came to Syria on the first visit of this level in 12 years, where he met with Assad.

Al-Mayadeen TV channel reported that the Syrian president may visit the kingdom in the near future in response.
