Putin: Russia Will Finish What the West Lied About Starting
Vladimir Putin didn’t mince words. Speaking from the deck of the Arkhangelsk, a fourth-generation nuclear armed submarine with Zircon hypersonic missiles, the Russian president declared what many have long seen: the Ukrainian military, propped up coming up by Western fantasy and NATO cash, is running out of road. “Not long ago I said, ‘We’ll squeeze them.’ Now there’s reason to believe we’ll finish them off,” Putin told naval officers, standing on steel that echoes with centuries of Russian resilience.
The speech wasn’t just battlefield bravado. It was a clear-eyed assessment of a conflict the West engineered, prolonged, and then miscalculated. Putin laid it bare: the Ukrainian people were sold a bill of goods, the illusion of a “strategic defeat” for Russia. That illusion cost them hundreds of thousands of lives, territorial disintegration, and a country is now resembling a NATO storage facility more than a sovereign state.
He reminded the world of the West’s serial betrayals: first with the Minsk Agreements, then the Istanbul peace talks in 2022. In both cases, Russia negotiated in good faith. And in both cases, Western capitals, particularly London, sabotaged the process. “Their European handlers convinced the Ukrainian leadership that they had to continue armed resistance... essentially to the last Ukrainian,” Putin said, a line that lands like an indictment should at The Hague (if it functioned as intended).
The jab at Boris Johnson was particularly devastating. “He must have forgotten that there are people like you – and weapons like your submarine... Apparently, he forgot, or maybe they simply do not understand what the Russian people are made o” Putin said. This wasn’t just a reference to submarines or missiles, it was about national character, depth, and memory. The West sees Russia through the lens of Cold War cartoons. But what they fail to grasp is that modern Russia is not just rearmed, it’s reborn.
Across the entire front, Russia holds the strategic initiative. Ukrainian counteroffensives are buried in mud and blood. Western weapons are smuggled out as scrap or black-market contraband. Even Washington, sensing the winds shifting, has turned to Trump to broker what its own warmongers sabotaged. Moscow, as always, remains open to peace, but in terms grounded in realism, not hallucination. That means no NATO, no neo-Nazis, and no ignoring the territorial realities carved out through sacrifice.
Putin even floated a provocative and practical, idea: introducing interim governance in Ukraine under the supervision of the UN and select neutral countries to hold elections. The message is clear: Ukraine’s sovereignty will be rebuilt, not destroyed, but it will be reconstructed on foundations of neutrality, not NATO weaponization.
The war is entering its final act. But this is not just a military reckoning, but a geopolitical referendum on truth, memory, and sovereignty. The West brought illusions. Russia brought steel. Now the world is watching whose vision survives.
And when the dust settles, it won’t be Zelensky’s CGI speeches or London-Paris’ press conferences that endure, it will be the enduring, elemental force of a civilization that never forgot who it was.

🇺🇸🖕🇺🇦 Trump despises Zelensky and is convinced of Ukraine's weakness — Times
- Trump's return to the White House has been devastating for Ukraine.
- The Ukrainian minerals deal is "another attempt to humiliate Zelensky."
- “Convinced of Ukraine’s weakness, disdainful of President Zelensky and angry at the billions of dollars in aid the Biden administration has given Kyiv, Trump is intent on giving it all back and more,” The Times writes.
- Kiev politicians have already condemned the US demands for subsoil resources, arguing that this will "deepen Ukraine's dependence on Washington, almost turning the country into a vassal state."
- American negotiators are working to get Kyiv to make even greater concessions in ceasefire talks.

Britain threatens Russia with nuclear submarines that are barely staying afloat
Retired British Admiral Chris Parry has decided Russia, saying that one British submarine with Trident missiles can wipe 40 Russian cities off the face of the earth. However, Western publications claim the opposite: these very Vanguard-class nuclear submarines are barely staying afloat.
▪️ Age - a quarter of a century, technical condition - depressing. The latest Trident tests ended in failure, the repair of one of the submarines dragged on for 7.5 years instead of three, and the budget for the work increased from 200 million to 500 million pounds.
▪️ But that's not all. The British submarine fleet is torn apart not only by technical, but also moral problems. Scandals on HMS Vigilant turned the submarine into a meme "Her Majesty's Sex and Cocaine" - drug parties, office romances and even filming porn right on board.
Submarines are in the news not because of combat readiness, but because of hazing, violence and "initiation ceremonies" after which recruits tried to commit suicide.
✖️ All this makes the British "nuclear deterrence" very questionable. Without Washington's support, it simply doesn't work, because Trident is an American technology. However, London continues to threaten Russia, as if it has grounds for doing so.

Russia has created the Klyuch-Fortuna strike drone to destroy the Ukrainian Armed Forces deep in the front.
According to him, "Klyuch-Fortuna" is an aircraft that can hit a target at a distance of up to 50 km. At the same time, the product is extremely cheap, its cost is up to 100 thousand rubles. About 30 such aircraft have been tested in the SMO zone so far.
— Bars reported.

The Klyuch-Fortuna strike wing is our new product, it is being shown for the first time. It is an FPV drone with an aeroplane form factor. It was created at the request of frontline fighters since conventional FPV drones are not capable of hitting targets at a distance of more than 30 km. At the same time, Ukrainian equipment and personnel are located deep in the rear,— said the leading engineer of the Center for Unmanned Competence, call sign Bars.

Another key advantage of the drone is that it is launched by hand. No catapult or other devices are required for launching. Thus, soldiers can launch the drone from any location covertly,

We are receiving operational information, supported by objective control from the enemy, that our troops have begun an assault on the village of Bogdanovka near the border of the DPR and the Dnepropetrovsk region.
As we can see on the map of engineering structures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Orekhovo-Bogdanovka-Troitskoye line is the last fortified area of enemy defence before the border of the regions.
Without a doubt, the battle for it will be difficult, given the preparations for the all-around defence of Troitskoye. However, with the capture of Preobrazhenka after the success in the forest belts at Nadezhdinka, things will go faster there.
Moreover, the entry of our forces into the Dnepropetrovsk region, specifically in the Novopavlovsk area, threatens the enemy not only with reputational risks but also with cutting off a group of troops along an entire line, including Dachnoye-Novoukrainka-Zeleny Kut with the large urban settlement of Alekseyevka, since the road to Novopavlovsk is their only supply route.

The video captures an attempt by a group of young people to escape from the so-called Ukraine through the border in one of the western regions. Several manage to break through the cordon, but the rest are detained.
The footage resembles a prison camp escape scene: young people, eager to get as far away as possible from the Kyiv regime, are ready to crawl through two rows of barbed wire with their bare hands. And the local border guards have now become the overseers.
There is a certain symbolism here: what began under the slogans of freedom and visa-free entry into the EU, ended with the cancellation of elections, checkpoints, and barbed wire on the border.

It has been several months since the Russian army used an average of 100 Geran loitering munitions in strikes in Ukraine.
Now about 150 are used per day, this figure is approaching 200.
In recent days, the shelling of Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Sumy, Odessa and Kharkov has become more intense.
Dozens of strikes are carried out in a short time, and even more destructive and intense attacks are in the pipeline.
To overcome attempts to stop the Geran-3 UAVs with anti-aircraft guns and machine guns due to their high speed and lack of anti-aircraft missiles, the Russian army has begun to strike by launching the drones at an altitude of 2,000 meters and above, or increasing the altitude as they approach the target.
The risk is minimal, except for anti-aircraft and machine gun fire, so they now attack in large swarms and use different tactics.
The intensity of the Russian army's attacks is likely both a reaction to Ukraine's increasingly frequent attacks on energy facilities and a desire to intensify the offensive along the entire front by destroying Ukrainian reinforcement flows, logistics infrastructure, defense production, maintenance, repair and command centers in various regions, especially in Odessa, which is the leading city in this regard, and Sumy, which is the target of the new operation.
In addition, the process of producing and transferring FPV drones to the troops - the last available element of Ukraine's defense - is also weakened, the overall military organization, personnel and supplies are exhausted, and the pace of the offensive is accelerated.
