Russia’s use of drones in Ukraine reached an all-time high in February 2025, while the number of missile strikes declined, according to data compiled from public sources.
➡️ Record Drone Strikes
- 3,097 kamikaze drones (Geran, Gerber, and Parody) were launched in February, surpassing the previous record of 2,599 drones in January.
- On February 23, Russia launched a single-night record of 267 drones.
➡️ Decline in Missile Strikes
- Only 99 missiles (Iskander, KN-23, Kh-101, Kh-59, Kh-22, etc.) were fired throughout the month.
- Just one large-scale missile attack was recorded, on February 1.
- Strikes primarily targeted military, industrial, and energy infrastructure in Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa, and Poltava regions.
➡️ Surge in FPV Drone Usage
- Over 17,000 FPV drone strikes occurred in February, setting a new record.
- A single-day record was hit, with over 1,150 FPV drone strikes in 24 hours.
- The average daily FPV drone usage in 2024 was 250-300 strikes per day, but in 2025, it is approaching 1,000 per day under good weather conditions.

The Lancet loitering munitions, previously overshadowed by the hype around fiber-optic FPV drones and new "Molniya" drones, also set a record with over 200 strikes in February.

President Donald Trump ordered a pause to all military aid to Ukraine, turning up the heat on Volodymyr Zelenskiy just days after an Oval Office blowup with the Ukrainian president left the support of his country’s most important ally in doubt.
The US is pausing all current military aid to Ukraine until Trump determines the country’s leaders demonstrate a good-faith commitment to peace, according to a senior Defense Department official, who asked not to be identified discussing private deliberations.
The official said all US military equipment not currently in Ukraine would be paused, including weapons in transit on aircraft and ships or waiting in transit areas in Poland.

Living in Ukraine now is when pensioners who have worked for about 40 years receive a pension of $100 per month, teachers and doctors receive about $200-250. But at a time when funds from USA humanitarian programs for Ukraine remain in the pockets of Zelenskyi's friends.
Before I go to work, I constantly read town chats to see where I might be at risk of manhunting. I haven't seen my old parents for about a year, because a real safari is going on in the city where they live.
We don't have actual news on TV, we don't have true news in newspapers. The government fills Ukrainian YouTube as much as possible with censored information from its own bloggers, who in exchange for loyalty to the government receive insane amounts of money and bookings from mobilization.
Finally, I will summarize. I loved Ukraine with all my heart, it was my country - democratic, free, happy, with freedom of speech, where everyone had different opinions from several dozen TV channels. There were both pro-government and opposition channels. Now I hate what Zelensky has turned this country into...
If you read 1984 and suddenly wanted to visit there, welcome - this is Ukraine today! Where war is peace, truth is a lie, and freedom is slavery.
And if you are interested in why I blame Zelensky in particular for this war (as well as Putin), I would be able to explain my position later.
