🇷🇺🇺🇦 Ukrainian UAV attack on Russian regions

Last night, Ukrainian forces carried out another massive drone strike. Russia's air defense forces were active in seven regions of the country, intercepting 125 UAVs.

▪️The largest group of 67 drones was destroyed in the airspace of the Volgograd Region. Several explosions were recorded in the Kotlubani area, where the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate (GRAU) arsenal of the Russian Defense Ministry is located. According to available information, there were no casualties and no serious damage to the facility.

❗️Despite claims by the enemy's media resources about the destruction of a railway train during the raid, data from fire monitoring services indicates no fires in the area of the railway line located on the territory of the arsenal and nearby settlements.

The force of the explosions recorded in this area also does not fit the AFU's version - the destruction of a train with, as stated, artillery ammunition would have caused much more extensive damage to the facility.

▪️In the Rostov Region, 17 UAVs attacked civilian infrastructure facilities in the Tsimlyansk District. Local residents reported partial power outages in both the eponymous settlement and the neighboring Volgodonsk. So far, there have been no reports of damage to power facilities in the region.

▪️In the Voronezh Region, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed 17 air targets. One of the AFU drones hit a multi-story building in the regional capital. A fire broke out on the upper floors, affecting several apartments, but the residents were evacuated in time - there were no casualties.

▪️Air defense forces also repelled the enemy's attack on the Belgorod Region, intercepting 18 air targets. In the Bryansk and Kursk Regions and the Krasnodar Territory, one AFU drone each was destroyed, and three more were shot down over the waters of the Sea of Azov. There were no casualties in any of these cases.

Kursk Region. Summary of the Russian Ministry of Defense on the progress of repelling the attempted invasion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces into Russian territory (as of September 29, 2024)

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue operations to defeat the enemy group that has penetrated into the territory of the Kursk region.

▪️ Units of the North group of forces continue to conduct offensive operations, during which they defeated the formations of the 21st, 22nd and 115th mechanized, 17th tank, 82nd and 95th airborne assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 1st National Guard Brigade, the 36th Marine Brigade, as well as the 103rd and 129th territorial defense brigades in the areas of the settlements of Lyubimovka, Darino, Novy Put, Nikolayevo-Daryino and Plekhovo.

Over the past 24 hours, the group's units repelled five enemy counterattacks in the direction of the settlements of Lyubimovka, Kremyanoye and Plekhovo, and also thwarted attacks in the direction of Olgovka and Pogrebki. As a result, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 60 people killed and wounded, two combat armored vehicles and a car.

▪️ With the support of army aviation and artillery fire, six attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to break through the border of the Russian Federation in the direction of the settlement of Novy Put were repelled. The enemy's losses amounted to more than 50 personnel killed and wounded, a tank, four combat armored vehicles and a car were destroyed. Five Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen surrendered.

▪️Army aviation strikes and artillery fire damaged concentrations of manpower and equipment of the 22nd, 41st, 61st and 115th mechanized, 17th tank, 80th and 95th airborne assault brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the 1st and 17th National Guard Brigades, the 36th Marine Brigade, as well as the 103rd, 112th, 116th and 129th territorial defense brigades in the areas of the populated areas of Guevo, Darino, Ivashkovsky, Kolmakov, Kruglenkoye, Lyubimovka, Malaya Loknya, Martynovka, Medvezhye, Mirny, Novy Put, Novaya Sorochina, Orlovka, Plekhovo, Pravda, Tolstoy Lug and Cherkasskoye Porechnoye.

▪️ Operational-tactical aviation and missile forces carried out strikes on the areas of concentration in the Sumy region and reserves of the 21st, 22nd, 41st, 47th and 115th mechanized, 80th and 95th airborne assault, 1st National Guard brigade, as well as the 103rd and 129th territorial defense brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Belovody, Boyaro-Lezhichi, Vorozhba, Vishenki, Glukhov, Zhuravka, Kucherovka, Miropolye, Privolye, Pavlovka, Revyakino, Rechki, Sumy, Chervonoprapornoye, Shalygino and Khoten.

✨ In total, during the military operations in the Kursk direction, the enemy lost more than 18,560 servicemen, 133 tanks, 64 infantry fighting vehicles, 97 armored personnel carriers, 850 armored combat vehicles, 550 vehicles, 146 artillery pieces, 32 multiple launch rocket system launchers, including eight HIMARS and six MLRS made in the USA, eight anti-aircraft missile system launchers, five transport and loading vehicles, 38 electronic warfare stations, nine counter-battery radars, two air defense radars, 18 units of engineering and other equipment, including 11 engineering obstacle clearing vehicles, a UR-77 mine clearing unit and an armored repair and recovery vehicle.
