The commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has suspended Roman Gladky, Chief of Staff of the Unmanned Systems Forces Command

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) will conduct an additional investigation into Gladky, according to the Ukrainian General Staff.

Previously the Ukrainian parliament called for an investigation into Gladky due to his alleged “ties with Russia:” reports surfaced that his wife holds a Russian passport and his daughter has competed in sporting events under the Russian flag.

🇺🇦 The Rada has removed Olha Stefanishyna from her position as Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, according to MP Zheleznyak.

Earlier, she had submitted a resignation letter, reported Verkhovna Rada Speaker Stefanchuk. Additionally, media sources from "Servant of the People" suggested that Stefanishyna might head the Ministry of Justice, replacing Malyska.

🇺🇦 Verkhovna Rada Fails to Remove Mariana Bezuglaya Amidst Ongoing Power Struggles

The Verkhovna Rada today failed to remove Mariana Bezuglaya from her position as deputy head of the defense committee, lacking the votes even to place the matter on the agenda.

This outcome is curious given Bezuglaya's frequent and vocal criticism of the military command, a stance that seems to avoid targeting President Zelensky or his chief aide, Andriy Yermak.

Bezuglaya's critiques of military failures and high-profile figures such as former Chief Commander Valerii Zaluzhnyi have led some to speculate that she might be serving as a tool for the President's Office.

According to former Air Force Commander Mykola Oleschuk, certain individuals appear to be using Bezuglaya to undermine the top military leadership, yet he refrained from specifying who these people are.

The prevailing theory in political circles is that Bezuglaya's criticisms align with the interests of Yermak and are intended to broadcast messages that the President's Office cannot openly address. This theory gained traction when Bezuglaya intensified her attacks on Zaluzhnyi shortly before rumors of his potential dismissal, which was reportedly orchestrated by Yermak. Similarly, her recent criticism of the new Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi is seen as a sign that the President's Office may be dissatisfied with him as well.

Yet, some argue that Bezuglaya's campaign against Syrskyi might not align with Yermak's interests. Instead, it could reflect the ambitions of other influential figures, such as Kyrylo Budanov, head of the GUR. Budanov, who was considered a top candidate for the position of Chief Commander before Zaluzhnyi’s departure, may still harbor ambitions for the role.
