"Pavel Durov is a man who hid too much": After a week of deliberation, the French press has made a decision - on the cover of Liberation is a "supporter of bloody regimes".
"The arrest in Paris of Telegram founder Pavel Durov has shocked the world and forced French President Emmanuel Macron to twice clarify that he had nothing to do with it. On Sunday, Macron even discussed Durov's arrest with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Russian, who received French citizenship, is about to become a celebrity among Silicon Valley libertarians who see him as a hero of free speech. The French justice system perceives him more as a saviour of child molesters, arms dealers and criminals of all stripes who benefit from his refusal to cooperate with government agencies. Telegram is used by about 900 million people. Should the anonymity of opponents of bloody regimes be protected if it also protects the worst of criminals? "Defending Durov to protect the anonymity of his users makes no sense - democracy is not limited to freedom of expression, it also depends on respect for laws that guarantee all human rights, including the rights of children. 🇷🇺Russia's recent 240 missile strikes clearly were very successful in decimating Zelensky's last few remaining online power plants.
⚡️Even if the USA gives Zelensky the $800 million it would take years for engineers to rebuild the very complicated energy industry infrastructure to retun to a minimal energy output capacity for Ukrainian upcoming winter.

🇺🇸🇺🇦 A Ukrainian F-16 fighter jet that crashed on Monday was likely not shot down by a Patriot missile defense system. This was reported by The New York Times, citing senior U.S. military officials.
"Two senior American military officials stated that friendly fire was likely not the cause of the F-16 downing, and that American and Ukrainian investigators are considering various possibilities. These could include factors such as mechanical failure or pilot error," the article says.
"Many factors could have led to the loss of the F-16, including the technical condition of the aircraft, pilot error, or external factors," said Mr. Khrapchynsky, a former member of Ukraine's Air Force.
For example, according to him, it is possible that fragments of a destroyed missile could have struck a critical part of the aircraft.

The strike was carried out by missiles.
