The city of Novohrodivka, south of Pokrovsk, was captured by the Russians in a few days. There were indeed fortifications in front of the city, forming a unified complex that extends to Selydove.

The trenches in front of Novohrodivka were empty. In the once twenty-thousand-strong city, there was practically no Ukrainian army presence. The 31st brigade was withdrawn before reaching the city, the brigade commander, for whom the unit had vouched, was removed, and a criminal case was initiated against him (I remind you, there’s still no case against Sodol). Instead, an inexperienced unit was sent in. This isn’t the only recent “rotation.” More are planned. Toretsk, Pokrovsk – more are to come.

❗️If a "rotation" is carried out in Vuhledar now, we will lose it as well.

All these “rotations” lead to breakthroughs and deaths. Units are withdrawn, commanders are removed, people die, and we lose hundreds of kilometers of Ukrainian land – cities, villages, mines, resources, and history. The number of criminal rotations is only increasing. The fragmentation of the front is growing.

Today, the Russians entered Selydove. A week ago, I walked to the outskirts of Selydove in the direction of Novohrodivka and saw fortifications before the city. But in the city itself, there was nothing, just a regular civilian settlement. I entered the trenches; no one was guarding them, no one was there. I walked underground and came out into the field. Beyond the field, the Russians were already there. There was no one else. I didn’t step on any mines, didn’t encounter any territorial defense fighters – only a few solitary insects were the only life in the prepared fortifications around Selydove, which the Russians had been aiming to capture for ten years. Any civilian could have done what I did.

In Novohrodivka, on the eve of the Kursk operation, the sounds of shelling continuously echoed in the sky, and residents were still walking the streets. There were no signs of preparations for defense or the presence of our military in the city.

People are evacuating through Pokrovsk. Evacuations are underway. People with belongings, military personnel. The military is leaving through Pokrovsk. For the last few weeks, military personnel have been continuously leaving through Pokrovsk.

Zin Note: 12 hours ago, reports were that the RF were simply entering Selidovo. Konstantinovka also fell quite quickly yesterday. Something is definitely wrong with the Ukrainian defenses in the South. They're panicking and becoming disorganized.

One of the stupidest actions a country, entity, or person can take is to dare Vladimir Putin or Russia. There are only three possible outcomes: you are either ignored, destroyed, or first ignored and then destroyed. The ignoring happens immediately; the destruction may take time, but it is inevitable.

The folks at Vox seem to believe that after daring Putin, they will likely be ignored. So, on August 27, they published an article titled “Did Ukraine just call Putin’s nuclear bluff?”

The article discusses how President Putin has repeatedly threatened the West with nuclear weapons, yet every time another one of his red lines is crossed, nothing happens. Essentially, the article advocates for continuing to cross these red lines and implicitly, daring President Putin to respond.

Yes, President Putin will likely ignore this article along with authors, editors, and publishers. After all they are just a bunch of nobodies. But what the people at Vox fail to grasp is that they are contributing, however slightly, to the overall anti-Russian sentiment in the United States and the West. Their small contribution could be the straw that breaks the camel's back, leading to destruction—global destruction that is.

The world would be much safer if the folks at Vox and similar publications understood these simple concepts. Unfortunately, they don’t—they're just too stupid.

US intelligence provided Ukraine with satellite images of the Kursk region from the start of its invasion

“We made available commercial imagery through a portal called G-EGD,” Frank Whitworth, Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, told the Intelligence and National Security Summit.

“The availability of the commercial industry is sustained,” Whitworth said. “If that is what they are using for purposes of this particular campaign in Kursk, then I will refer to them to confirm that, but the availability is always there.”

Since the start of the offensive, the US and UK have provided Ukraine with satellite imagery and other information about the Kursk region, the New York Times claimed based on comments by two unidentified ‘officials’.

The Kremlin regards Western countries' assistance to Ukraine as evidence of their direct involvement in the conflict.

"Many countries of the so-called collective West have already got into this conflict up to their ears," Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
