Increasing estimates that 5 of the 6 bodies of Israeli captives that were retrieved by the Israeli army in Gaza yesterday were killed by Israeli army fire, Israeli newspaper Maariv reported.
Captives Yagev Buchstab, Alexander Dancyg, Yoram Metzger, Nadav Popplewell and Chaim Peri were killed during Israel's bombing in Khan Yunis about six months ago.

Kadyrov is showing Putin the Russian special forces university named after the Russian president in the Chechen capital of Grozny.
The president was told about the work of the training center, and was also shown captured weapons from the SVO zone.
The Putin Special Forces University was founded in August 2013 as the International Training Center for Special Forces, and was renamed the Russian Special Forces University in August 2017.
From 2019 to August 15, 2024, more than 7,000 people and almost 13,000 employees of the Chechen security forces were trained at the university. Since April 2022, the university began working with volunteers. During this time, nearly 19,000 people were trained and sent to the SVO zone.
