Fierce fighting is taking place near the village of Martynovka, Sujan district, Kursk region.

The enemy is trying to conduct mechanized attacks on Martynovka with the use of armored vehicles, including tanks, MLRS and artillery.

On this section are holding the defense of the groups "Pitersky", "Hades" of the special forces "Akhmat" and a battalion of Guardsmen of the 810th Sevastopol Marine Brigade.

The enemy is massively using Grad MLRS. Attempts to advance cost him dearly - armor burns on the approach to the settlement, groups of infantry are destroyed and dispersed.

A dozen of armored vehicles are on fire.

There is a tough counter-battery fight.

Aleksandr Makiyvsky was a police officer. He was offered a place in an assault brigade, but he refused and was dismissed. His free life did not last long: after three months he ran out of money. At the same time, he began to receive summonses from the military recruitment centre and signed a contract.

According to Alexander, he and his comrades were assured that they would go to the second line of defence in the Donetsk region, where prepared AFU units would be waiting for them. Instead, they were taken in pickup trucks to "plug holes" in the front line.

"They were told to dig in. The knives are blunt, unrealistically simple. No water, no food - I thought I was going to die," said one POW.

Makiyevsky also recalled that when one of the groups wanted to leave, the commanders threatened the soldiers over the radio that they would fire cluster bombs at them and write it all off as hostilities. He himself wanted to leave immediately; the fourth day of service already seemed like hell, he said.
