Low-MCAP tokens (<$30K) have razor-thin order books — meaning both his exit and yours can move the price hard. That’s where most copy-traders get trapped.
Example:
A trader buys a token at $10K MCAP.
They sell with a 100% profit, so the MCAP at their exit is around $20K.
But because liquidity is so thin, his exit already pushes the MCAP down, and when you sell right after, your order pushes it even further — often down to $12–15K.
Result:
He gets close to his intended profit.
You get a much worse fill because there simply isn’t enough liquidity to support multiple exits.
Important:
This doesn’t mean you should avoid lowcaps entirely — they can still deliver the biggest multiples.
You just need to understand that liquidity risk is real, and blindly copying low-MCAP trades often leads to slippage.
Practical Tip:
Check the typical MCAP range of the traders you follow.
If someone trades only micro-caps, expect bigger differences between their fills and yours.
