A couple of years ago, the archaeological team excavated the lost church of the Apostles, but at that time, they only uncovered a small portion of the church. Today, we revisit the site to see the new discoveries and the possible missing entryway (the door)…
Update: "Dark Side of Jerusalem" -- we've received new information which might make the publication today incorrect, so we had to take it down for the time being. We plan on making further investigation this week to find the truth out and hopefully repost it soon.

WAR UPDATE OCT-07: We woke up this morning to terrible news. Rhoda and I happen to be in Florida right now but all our families are in Israel and safe for now. We are heading back to Israel soon. Thank you for your prayers!
WAR UPDATE OCT-08: Below is a list of names of our dear brothers, who have been deployed. Some to the very epicenter of the events.
Igal, Eli, Benny, Michel, Aleksei, Jenya, Eliya, Iochanna, Mark.
We are often conflicted in situations like these. When there are so many people hurting and in need, on every side, and not just in Israel but in many places in the world, how can we just post a message asking to pray for just a few?!
But we’re reminded that it is by the hands of a few that God brought about the greatest news the world has ever heard.
And this time, it is no exception. These are the people whom God put in my and Rhoda's lives to care for, and so we pray. We pray for the Lord to protect these men and bring them back safely to their families. We pray for the Lord to give them zeal, encouragement, and strength to carry the gospel and be the light amongst the darkness. We pray for their parents and their families. May they be comforted by the great grace in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Family update: We are well! Despite the distressful situation, our souls are well and that can never change and that no man can take away. We have a few family members who are stuck abroad as they were traveling when all this started, but we trust the Lord for his providence; we could pray for their return but then again, maybe the Lord is protecting them. We leave it in the Lord's will, but definitely wanting the family be together in times like these. Thank you for the prayers!

OCTOBER 10 UPDATE:
— The guys you've been praying for are doing well so far. Some are very tired as they have not seen much sleep.
— Yosi has begun working with the local believers and the local church to deliver help and encouragement for those in need. We plan on making a video soon, and have Yosi share more info from the ground and how others can help.
— Rhoda's brother and family are still stuck abroad but there's more hope in finding flights back as El-Al has stepped up to offer more flights from the nieghbhoring countries to compesnate the cancelled european flights.
— Messages briefly with Joshua Aaron, his daughter is in active duty. Adding her to the prayer list.
— Messaged with Shilo, they are well but do need your prayers. I can't share details, but if know the SOLU worship team, please keep them and their family memers in prayer.
— Spoke and prayed with Mike today; He's the photographer who'se providing some of the photos for the calendars and helps us with filming from time to time. He's doing well and his family is well. He said Nazareth area is relatively quiet. No missile alarms.
— Rhoda and I have a scheduled flight, but it's not until later in the month. We're still looking for earlier flights and praying for His will on this.
Thank you all for your prayers for these specific items. When I speak with folks and let them know you are praying, they are immensly encouraged.

Ps. These days I happen to be going through Job in my Bible reading plan. It's an unbelievable book. But it is also so hard to read at these times as I keep thinking of all of the people who have lost their loved ones.
But I kept on reading, and found something absolutely amazing in the very center of Job's struggle.
- Job’s troubles begin in Chapter 1.
- Job suffers until the Lord reveals himself in Chapter 38.
38 chapters of turmoil.
In the very center of them.. Chapter 19, Job declares:
“For I know my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth” -Job
— The ones you've been praying for are all well.

We were able to catch a flight into Israel 7 days ago. Our sincere apologies for not posting any updates; it has been quite overwhelming here.
We are on a 4hr/day sleep schedule but it seems like it's more than enough to function. Thanking the Lord for the strength and thanking you for your prayers!
We've had much accomplished in the mission the Lord has set before us. Many miles traveled and many people visited. And in the midst of it all, we were even able to film an encouraging Bethsaida update episode, and take new photos to complete the 2024 calendar which we'll be releasing soon.
Also, Lord willing, next week, we wish to make a video update on what's going on, what we've been up to, the state of Israel from the perspective of those who are here living, and also share encouraging stories and events that took place.
Again, we can't thank you enough for your prayers. We know God hears each one, and listens to your petitions in the name of our Lord Jesus.
Please continue to pray for Igal and for Mark, very dear brothers to us from our local congregation. We have spoken with Igal today, he is well but in the danger zone.
Mark, we have not heard from in almost a week.
Lastly, please know that the hearts of believers in this land are encouraged. We are encouraged in His Word, as we wake up with it, dwell on it all day, listen to it while we are on the road, and talk about it. We pray you may continue be encouraged in Him through the living and active Word of God.
"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words."
-1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

Igal & Mark Update: We've spoke with Igal, he is doing well. And we have finally heard from someone who have seen Mark and says he is well too. We have visited Mark's wife and children, and showed them all of your messages of prayers. They were greatly encourged; even to tears. Thank you all! Let's continue to uplift them in prayer.
Personal Update: Much has been done and accomplished, praise to the Lord. And we have finally gotten our first 8hrs of sleep in a single night. And wow. We can sure feel the difference! Thank you Lord. Thank you for your prayers for strength!
Calendar Update: We shift our focus towards making the 2024 Calendar. Many people have been asking, and it's nearly ready. We just need to edit the photos and then send the assets to the press. We hope it will be ready for order within the next couple of weeks.
Upcoming Video Update: You won't believe how empty Israel is. Rhoda and I took a day off yesterday and drove to the Sea of Galilee to recharge. It was very empty, and somewhat eerie. Saw a few soldiers here and there. And just a handful of people and cars. We took a few videos to share with you in a video update soon.
Lastly, we wanted to share this joy with you. Over the past couple of weeks, we got a chance to meet, spend time, and pray with many of our Jew and Arab brothers and sisters in the land. And every time we did, our hearts rejoiced. It's hard to describe in words the joy when two or more meet in one spirit. On a second thought, there's one verse that summarizes it perfectly: "How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard..." -Psalm 133
Igal & Mark Update: We've spoke with Igal, he is doing well. And we have finally heard from someone who have seen Mark and says he is well too. We have visited Mark's wife and children, and showed them all of your messages of prayers. They were greatly encourged; even to tears. Thank you all! Let's continue to uplift them in prayer.
