Anyway, there’s still 35–60+ hours of editing left for this video, so there’s a lot of work ahead.

My perfectionist side kicked in, so I ended up re-editing the intro and around 20% of the main video. And now I’m going to do it all again: fix the script, redo the intro, and especially work on the voiceover.
Since you guys mostly rated my voiceover 1⭐ 😭, I’m going for more retakes this time. 🙂
It’s already been 36 days, so sorry for the delay. But hopefully it won’t become another 4–5 month project. 💀
Honestly, I’m still confused: is it actually worth doing this many retakes and edits just to make the video better, or am I taking perfectionism a little too far? 😭

Guys, it’s been 3 days of nonstop rain with really strong winds, and the weather here is pretty bad.
Because of the strong winds, some roads are blocked, and there’s basically no chance of electricity coming back for at least the next week. I honestly don’t even know how I’m going to keep my phone charged. 😭
The inverters around here are already dead too. 🙂
And the biggest problem is the network. It’s been completely gone most of the time. Since this morning, I had zero network at all, no calls, no messages, nothing.
The network just came back for a while, so I’m sending this message now.
Because of the strong winds, some roads are blocked, and there’s basically no chance of electricity coming back for at least the next week. I honestly don’t even know how I’m going to keep my phone charged. 😭

As I said before, I’m re-making the video from scratch, and here’s where things stand:
Intro script changed 3 times
Intro voiceover: 150+ takes 😭
Intro editing redone 2–3 times
Main script rewritten 2 times
Main video: around 10% edited
Main voiceover: 35+ takes, and I’ve completed only 1 part
The video is longer and has 3 main script parts, so there’s still a lot left.
Now I’m starting the main editing again from the beginning. I’m still not completely satisfied with it, but this time I’m going with what I have instead of endlessly redoing everything. 🙂
And honestly, there has been some extra frustration in between too. Network is mostly gone, and electricity barely comes, which makes recording voiceovers especially difficult.
