Hey there, @breadmaker over here.

Here you will find slices of what I do, what I think and what I enjoy.

My hope is that you find something that inspires you or brings you joy, filling a part of you that you never knew needed it.

Cheers!

Tencent has bought out Leyou, owner of Digital Extremes, developers of Warframe. The whole process have been slow, and honestly, painful to witness, as the community is quietly being ripped apart by this development. As jointingly stated in this document,…
At the end, Digital Extremes has become yet another AAA developer, where floor staff cannot do much under constant crunch, and their rotten insides will be, in time, properly exposed. In the meantime, I cannot do much but share my insight and thoughts about this whole debacle. Thank you for your time.

Denis Villeneuve's Dune has been delayed until Oct 1st, 2021, but at least we can enjoy this aperitif from the trailer. Did you know that Zimmer supervised a 32-person choir via video call, where choir members gathered in groups of four over eight separate sessions in Santa Monica at Zimmer's Remote Control studio while Zimmer conducted from home?

Last night I was in that state of drowsiness before bed. It was in that moment I decided to put together this piece. I guess it was a nice birthday present to make Vinny chuckle.
It still needs a lot of work, but I can finally publish a working version of the player for the project, available at https://breadmaker.gitlab.io/ctm-player/
Last Sunday I witnessed history, as Chile finally decided to repeal the old dictatorial constitution and lay the foundations for the drafting of a new one with the participation of all its citizens.
The road will not be easy and the old banners will do everything in their power to stop the inevitable, but the hope of the people to defeat years of injustice and inequality is greater, as the massive citizen participation has shown.
Personally, I will do my best to help with the humble knowledge that I have acquired over time, with which I can contribute to make my country a better place for everyone.

I have been researching how to integrate flask with uwsgi and nginx. I have read and seen many tutorials, but none seemed to have the confidence to explain what to do, also, each one has a different approach, probably because it is the way they learned and that was enough for them.
Everything was going from bad to worse until, in the middle of rummaging, I found gold. Todd Birchard nails it so hard I had to buy him a hammer (not exactly, but you get what I mean).
Thanks, Todd https://hackersandslackers.com/deploy-flask-uwsgi-nginx/

When I decided to move on with my life, I promised myself that I would leave everything behind. Little by little I did. I did everything, except one thing. I suppose there are things that define you, things that stay in the back of your mind, things like…
Two months later, I have rebuilt all the necessary foundations of the project, and I'm currently hard at work rebooting development on the "native" app for browsers. You can check the progress (and make suggestions or, even better, contributions to the code) in the Gitlab repositories. Expect the big announcement before the end of the year.
The Grid
Daft Punk
Exactly 10 years ago, Tron: Legacy premiered over here. Definitely, an instant modern sci-fi cult classic. But not because of the protagonist's uncomfortable facial expressions, nor because of the easy-to-digest script, nor even because of the spectacular digital effects (impressive even by today's standards), but because of Daft Punk. Decades of experience in the search for new sounds, researching, discovering, amalgamating the analog with the digital, finally led them to compose a score along with a soundtrack that ages like the best French wine. Happy Anniversary!

Guardian of Power (With Choir)
Grégoire Lourme
I cannot believe how far Grégoire Lourme has come after following him for 8 years now. His mastering of the Epic Cinematic Orchestra genre only gets better every time. His influences should be noticeable from the get go, just like his hype style. Some may found his writing cheesy and too focused on percussion. I say: "Just give this man some more years to perfect his craft and you will have a potential big movie soundtrack composer." In the meantime, you should check his other work and consider getting a license for some of his great music for your trailer. https://www.jamendo.com/album/200402/guardian-of-power

After a week of dusting this old project to update dependencies due to security concerns, I ended overhauling the entire thing. You can try it here. Have fun.
