βͺοΈ Southwest of #Bakhmut, Wagner PMC assault troops liberated the village of #Kleshchiyevka, knocking out the 3rd Assault Brigade and the Territorial Defence from the settlement.
Fighting is still going on in the vicinity of the village, but its liberation and the capture of a fortified area nearby allows to take the Chasov Yar - #Bakhmut highway under fire control and provides another "entry point" into the city from the southwest.

An unexpected attack on the strongholds of the 65th Mechanized Brigade and 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade forced the enemy to retreat, leaving behind four settlements, according to some reports.
β The AFU command intends to launch a counterattack shortly to retake the lost territories. Most of the villages near the line of contact are in the "grey zone".
βͺοΈ In the #Pologi sector, Ukrainian formations are also preparing for an offensive by the RF Armed Forces, reinforcing their positions with machine gun crews and ATGMs.

π Today, 7 June 2023, the AFU conducted a massive reconnaissance battle in the #Orekhov area. Separate assault units of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade and the 15th Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard attacked Russian positions near #Lobkovoye and #Zherebyanki.
βͺοΈ Enemy armoured groups were able to enter #Lobkovoye and from there began to move towards #Zherebyanki. Several attempts resulted in Ukrainian forces being stopped 1 kilometre north of the #Zherebyanki village, after which they rolled back with losses. #Lobkovoye is currently in the grey zone.
βͺοΈ In addition, formations of the 65th AFU Mechanized Brigade attempted to break through in the directions of #Verbovoye, #Rabotino and #Nesterianka. The assault units were detected while still on the move. Some of the equipment was blown up by mines and the rest have been hit, causing them to retreat to their initial positions.
γ½οΈ In today's attack, Ukrainian units lost over 15 pieces of armoured equipment, including over 7 tanks, and over 100 militants killed and wounded. At the same time, as "South Wind" correctly noted, the AFU still did not engage the Brigades of the 9th and 10th Army Corps which make up the strategic reserve.
π Now the concentration of the enemy is noted near #Kamenskoye and near #Stepovoye, and forces are being transferred from #Kherson region to #Zaporozhye. So, in the next 24 hours we should expect further attempts to storm the positions of the RF Armed Forces.
