♦️On the #Zaporozhye direction there was also a day of Russian artillery hitting #Kamenskoye, #Novoandreyevka, #Orekhov, #Novodanilovka, #Charovnoye, #Staraoukrainka, #Zheleznozhnoye, #Gulyaypol, #Krasnoye, #Poltavka and #Olgovskoye. The RF Armed Forces are probably preparing another ground offensive. (Fig. 2)

♦️It's hot in the #Ugledar sector. Russian troops attacked in the direction of #Prechistovka.
🔹 In #Ugledar itself, the situation is contradictory. In the northwestern outskirts the AFU are attacking, in the northeastern outskirts the Russian army is attacking. The city itself is hit by artillery from the RF Armed Forces.

♦️On the #Donetsk front, Russian troops attacked in the area of #Pobeda.

♦️The Wagner PMC is conducting an assault near #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye), planning to cut #Bakhmut's main supply route from #Konstantinovka and reach the town itself from the southwest.

▪️ The Ukrainian terrorist forces continue shelling Donetsk and other towns in the republic.
➖ In the capital of the DPR, at least 11 houses were damaged in Petrovsky and Kirovsky districts. The Petrovsky district is partially de-energized.
➖ Four residential buildings were destroyed in #Gorlovka.
➖ Seven HIMARS rockets were fired at #Ilovaysk railway station. Air defence intercepted some of the shells, while the rest damaged the depot, train station and railway tracks. No casualties were reported.

▪️ Near #Donetsk, Russian fighters are advancing on the enemy's dominant strongholds in the direction of #Severnoye and #Tonenkoye. The attacking formations are covered by artillery and TOS Solntsepek.

♦️#Zaporozhye Region:

▪️ On Sunday afternoon, Ukrainian militants launched a rocket attack from HIMARS MLRS on a railway bridge near the village of #Svetlodolinskoye north of #Melitopol. At the time of the strike, repair work was being carried out at the site, killing at least five members of the repair team and injuring two others.

♦️#Kherson Direction on Southern Front:

The Ukrainian army bent its "truth" in #Alyoshki, Kazachya Lopan, #Korsunka, #Dnepryany, Nova Kakhovka and #Kakhovka (Figure 1).

♦️In the #Ugledar sector, the RF Armed Forces, supported by artillery, attempted to reach the northeastern outskirts of the city. Russian forces also shelled Novopol, and #Vremyevka and Zolotaya Niva (Fig. 2).

♦️ On the #Donetsk front, the RF Armed Forces attacked in the direction of #Novomikhaylovka.

🔹#Russia's Border Areas:

▪️ In the #Kursk region, Ukrainian terrorist formations shelled the border villages of #Guevo and #Gornal, as well as #Tetkino village. There were no casualties, but the strike damaged a sugar factory.

▪️ In the #Belgorod region, the AFU terrorists launched massive strikes on the border settlements of #Shebekino and Pervoye Tseplyayevo. Private households and a shopping centre were damaged and three civilians wounded.

🔹#Kharkov Region:

▪️ In the afternoon, Russian troops hit the Kharkov Aircraft Factory, which is the site of production and maintenance of AFU drones.

🔹#Starobelsk Direction:

▪️ In the #Liman sector, the situation has not changed significantly. Russian SRGs are searching for targets to hit artillery and armoured vehicles in the rear of the AFU.

🔹#Soledar (#Bakhmut) Direction (MAP):

▪️ In the #Soledar sector, combined Russian units have dislodged the enemy from the fortified area at the approach to #Veseloye. Ukrainian forces try to slow down the RF Armed Forces' offensive with the use of drones and SRGs.

▪️ Northwest of #Bakhmut, Wagner PMC fighters have entrenched themselves in the centre of the #Berkhovka settlement, expanding their area of control.
➖ Russian units are engaged in heavy fighting in #Yagodnoye. The enemy is not going to give up the settlement without a fight and is moving reserves to hold the front.

▪️ In #Bakhmut, the "Wagnerians" advanced along Zarechnaya Street in the area of the meat processing plant, knocking the enemy out of its positions. The Ukrainian command is pulling reserves to backup positions in order to slow down the advance of the assault squads.

▪️ In the southwest near Sobachevka, Russian forces managed to clear several blocks of residential areas along Gogol Street.

▪️ Southwest of #Bakhmut, at the approaches to #Krasnoye, the Wagner PMC assault squads approached close to the H-32 highway connecting the settlement with Chasov Yar.

🔹#Donetsk Direction:

▪️ In #Maryinka, fighting continues on Druzhba Avenue in the centre, and near the tyre repair plant in the south. The RF Armed Forces are actively using tanks and aviation to target identified concentrations of enemy forces.

▪️ The AFU terrorists continue indiscriminately shelling civilian infrastructure in #Donetsk agglomeration.
➖ Overnight, the enemy launched a rocket attack on #Mariupol, damaging residential areas.
➖ In #Makeyevka, the terrorists fired HIMARS rockets at the Solnechny prophylactic centre.
➖ Residential buildings in #Donetsk were hit: several civilians were killed.

🔹 #Kherson Direction, #SouthFront:

▪️ Artillery duels continue along the entire line of contact: RF Armed Forces units hit enemy concentrations around #Kherson, #Mikhaylovka, #Dudchany, and #Chernobayevka.

🔹In the #Kherson Direction, the RF Armed Forces have concentrated artillery fire on the right bank of the #Dnieper River opposite the controlled town of Golaya Pristan.
📌 It is possible that the AFU is forming a strike force in this area for a possible attempt to force the river through the islands of Belogrudy and Bolshoy Potyomkin.

Our colleague and war correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky was killed in a terrorist attack in St Petersburg.
➖ At least 24 other people were injured.

🔹#Russia's Border Areas:

▪️ In the #Kursk region, Ukrainian terror formations shelled border villages. In #Iskra and #Dronovka there were no casualties, in Nikolayevo Daryino seven people were wounded.

▪️ In the #Belgorod region, the enemy struck an agricultural enterprise and houses in the village of #Novopetrovka, civilians were not harmed.

🔹#Starobelsk (#Svatovo) Direction:

▪️ There are no changes in this section of the front. Both sides are engaged in artillery duels along the line of contact, positional battles continue in the #Serebryanskoye forestry and near Balka Zhuravka.

🔹#Soledar (#Bakhmut) Direction:

▪️ In Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, the situation has not changed significantly, with neither side having stable control over the settlement.

▪️ In the north of #Bakhmut, Wagner PMC assault squads are advancing along Levanevsky Street in the Selischevsky district. Fighting is also taking place on the approaches to the railway station.

▪️ In #Bakhmut's south, Russian units have begun storming the enemy positions on Bakhmutskaya Street. The enemy is being encircled on both sides along Mira Street and Vasil Pershin Street near the local city council.

▪️ Southwest of the city, heavy position fighting continues for control over the #Bakhmut - #Konstantinovka highway. The enemy is moving new reserves to hold the strategically important route for defence.

🔹#Donetsk Direction:

▪️ In the #Avdeyevka sector, the situation remains steadily tense, with Russian units continuing a systematic offensive from the direction of #Kamenka and #Krasnogorovka, striking fire at the enemy strongholds.

▪️ Ukrainian terrorist formations once again fired indiscriminately at the #Donetsk agglomeration. Among others, #Donetsk, #Yasinovataya, and #Yelenovka came under fire. More than ten houses were damaged and one man was wounded in #Gorlovka.
➖ According to local authorities, three 110kV power lines were damaged as a result of the strike on the Kurakhovskaya TPP, leading to emergency blackouts in the Pokrovsky district.

🔹#Zaporozhye Direction:

▪️ On #Melitopol, the AFU terrorists fired missiles from rocket artillery at residential buildings and infrastructure. At least six civilians were wounded with varying degrees of severity.

🔹#Kherson Direction on #SouthFront:

▪️ Artillery duels continue along the entire line of contact. Russian forces hit enemy concentrations in #Kherson, #Berislav and #Dudchany.

🔹 Political Developments:

▪️ Ukrainian authorities continue to illegally take away the Kiev Cave Monastery from the canonical UOC MP. Metropolitan Pavel, the Lavra's primate, was placed under house arrest on Saturday night.

▪️ In #Khmelnitsky, in the Holy Intercession Cathedral of the UOC-MP, a fight took place between a Ukrainian militant and a priest - the first one threw off the Gospel and urged believers not to attend the churches of the Moscow Patriarchate, after which he was expelled by force.
➖ Against this background, a crowd of citizens came to the temple and began to threaten the priests. The mayor of Khmelnytsky, for his part, promised to take away all plots of land from the temples of the UOC-MP.

🔸The Situation in #Kherson Region along the #Dnieper River has escalated. In recent weeks, the AFU has been trying to 👉 entrench itself on the left bank, sending reconnaissance teams and probing the RF Armed Forces' defenses in this area.

▪️ For several days the main events have been taking place on Bolshoy Potemkin Island to the south, near #Kindiyka to the east and near #Veletenskoye to the west of the administrative centre. The areas have been partly in a "greyzone" for some time now.

🔹In the Golaya Pristan Sector, an RF Armed Forces man-portable air defence system crew 👉 shot down a Ukrainian Su-25 attack aircraft over #Veletenskoye, while Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft struck the Ukrainian Special Forces of Operation landing area south of #Kizomys with FABs.

▪️ Meanwhile, yesterday the AFU forcibly evacuated civilians from #Veletenskoye and Kizomys as part of preparations for the landing of special forces assault groups on the left bank of the #Dnieper. Bayraktar UAVs are operating almost continuously over #Kherson and #Nikolayev regions.

🔹Around #Kherson, Russian artillerymen supported by aircraft conducted several massive attacks on Ukrainian positions on Bolshoy Potemkin Island, in #Antonovka, #Vysuntsy and the coastal area of Dacha and #Kindiyka.

▪️ From the #Tyaginka - #Berislav - #Zmiyevka line, crews of the 124th and 126th Brigades of the AFU Territorial Defence Forces continue to fire mortar and artillery at the positions of the RF Armed Forces. Targeting is provided by reconnaissance copters.

🔹In the #KrivoyRog Sector near #Dudchany, Zolotaya Balka and #Maryanskoye, the 121st Separate Brigade of the AFU Territorial Defence is training assault teams to ford water obstacles.

▪️ Also the forces of the AFU's 71st Separate Jager Brigade conducted training on storming strongholds in the urban area together with the Territorial Defence in the #Pokrov - #Nikopol - #Marganets section.

📌 At the Moment, significant Ukrainian forces with a total strength of over 15,000 men (at least 20 Territorial Defence battalions with attached artillery units, a National Guard brigade and the 71st Separate Jager Brigade of the AFU are concentrated in the #Kherson direction.

At the same time, the redeployment of new formations to the #Zaporozhye region continues. Today, a mechanized battalion of the AFU10th AC's 118th Mechanized Brigade arrived north of #Orekhov to #Tavriyskoye. By 30 April, the 116th, 118th Mechanized Brigades and 46th Separate Airmobile Brigade from #Pavlograd are due to arrive at the #Orekhov and #Gulyaypole sites.

The current manoeuvres of Ukrainian SRGs in #Kherson region look like attempts to divert the attention of the Russian command from preparing a strike in the #Zaporozhye direction. And, most likely, if an attack on #Tokmak and #Melitopol is launched, one should expect synchronous actions of the AFU from the right bank of the #Dnieper to restrain the RF Armed Forces.

▪️ In the #Kupyansk sector, the situation has not changed significantly. Mutual reconnaissance and artillery duels continue along the line of contact.

▪️ In the #Liman sector, the sides are engaged in positional fighting in the #Serebryanskoye forestry and near Balka Zhuravka.
➖ The Ukrainian command is moving additional forces to the #Liman and #Dibrova areas.

🔹#Soledar (#Bakhmut) Direction:

▪️ Russian servicemen have broken through the enemy defences north of #Khromovo village and occupied part of the trenches.

▪️ In the northwest of #Bakhmut, Wagner PMC assault squads are engaged in fierce fighting in the Zabolnitsa area.

▪️ In the city centre, Russians have advanced on Polevaya and Pervaya Lesnaya Streets.
➖ Near the garage complex, the "Wagnerians" have broken through the AFU defence line, entrenching themselves on its eastern outskirts.

▪️ In the south of the city, fighters of the Wagner PMC continue to storm the enemy strongholds in the aircraft stele area.

🔹#Donetsk Direction (MAP):

▪️ North of #Avdeyevka, Russians advanced to the railway, expanding the bridgehead to #Krasnogorovka.

▪️ On the southern flank, Russian units occupied an AFU stronghold northeast of #Vodyanoye.

▪️ South of #Pervomayskoye, Russian troops, supported by heavy armored vehicles, are storming enemy positions in the #Nevelskoye district.

▪️ The AFU terrorists again shelled the capital and other DPR settlements. 12 transformers were damaged in the Kuybyshevskyi district of %Donetsk.
➖ #Yasinovataya, #Gorlovka, #Nikolskoye and #Alexandrovka were also hit: more than 10 houses were damaged and one person was wounded.

▪️ In the #Ugledar section, Russian marines are engaged in small arms battles on the outskirts of the town, as well as in the forest belt north of #Nikolskoye dachas.

🔹#Zaporozhye Direction:

▪️ The AFU command continues to move reserves to the line of contact, building up the grouping of troops and increasing the intensity of shelling.

▪️ On Tuesday, the AFU terrorists fired HIMARS at civilian infrastructure in #Tokmak. 1 civilian was killed and 4 were wounded. In #Limanovka, residential houses and a gas pipeline have been damaged as a result of artillery shelling.

🔹#Kherson Direction on #SouthFront (MAP):

▪️ Ukrainian authorities have banned any civilian watercraft on water objects, except for the naval forces of #Ukraine and the water guard.

▪️ The Russian Forces hit concentrations of enemy manpower and equipment in #Antonovka, #Dudchany, #Kizomys and #Inzhenernoye. On Tuesday, a Ukrainian Su-25 attack aircraft was 👉 shot down near #Veletenskoye.
➖ In turn, the AFU terrorists shelled settlements on the left bank of the #Dnieper.. Civilian infrastructure in Nova Kakhovka, #Kakhovka and #Korsunka were damaged, among others.

🔸Political and other Events:

▪️ #UK Undersecretary of Defence James Hippy announced the transfer of depleted uranium Challenger 2 tank shells to #Ukraine, disclaiming a commitment to deal with the consequences of their use.

▪️ The Ukrainian PO has unveiled a sanctions plan against #Russia, which plans to supply gas from #Russia to the #EU only through #Ukraine, as well as a total ban on Russian metallurgical products, jewellery and dual use goods.

▪️ Ursula von der Leyen said that the #EU had allocated #Ukraine another 1.5bn euros financial assistance.

▪️ The European Commission has agreed to ban imports of Ukrainian sunflower oil. Additionally, the Turkish authorities said they would impose a 130-per-cent duty on imports of wheat, barley and maize starting from 1 May.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦☢️ On the AFU Plans to seize #ZNPP and #Energodar⚡️

🗓 The other Day, British intelligence published photo of the territory of the #Zaporozhye NPP, taken on 25 Mar from a satellite. In the picture you can see the installation of firing positions and loopholes right on the roof of the NPP behind the reactors.

🔹Why might such measures be needed?

The AFU command is intensively preparing for the offensive. Although its terms have been shifted more than once, according to characteristic signs, it is not far off. Western curators need success, and they are pushing the AFU hard to attack.

One of the enemys' main goals is to seize the #Zaporozhye region, including #Energodar and #ZNPP. The NPP has been the subject of negotiations mediated by the IAEA since late last year.

Then the Ukrainians tried to push through the creation of first a 30km and then a 5km buffer zone around the #ZNPP with the full withdrawal of Russian troops and equipment, including air defence. The Russians rejected the demands, so no agreement could be reached.

🔹What is happening at the Moment?

Units of the 121st and 129th Territorial Defence (TD) Brigades are concentrated on the Kakhovka Reservoir coast on the right bank of the #Dnieper River. The 178th Battalion of the 121st TD Brigade operates at the #Maryanskoye - #Dudchany line, and 5 Battalions of the 129th TD Brigade are stationed along the reservoir on the #Nikopol - #Ilyinskoye - #Kanevskoye line.

In the last 3 months, at the training ground in #Maryanskoye, under the leadership of the tactical special forces group of the South command, assault groups have been preparing to force water barriers and land troops on the unequipped coast

At least 12 barges are moored at #Nikopol and #Pokrovskoye, which are planned to be used for the transfer of personnel and military equipment to #Energodar, and firing positions of long-range M777 howitzers with Excalibur guided munitions are equipped along the coast.

❗️In Addition, the 👉 recently arrived forces of the 71st Jager Brigade are stationed on the #Pokrovskoye - #Nikopol - #Marganets line. The 71st Jager Brigade took part in #Bakhmut defence, and some survivors of the meat grinder have experience in urban battles.

🔹What will the AFU achieve?

The offensive plan is to strike in one or two main directions and a few stilted ones along the front. The enemy pays special attention to the territories on the left bank of the #Dnieper in their plans.

As the attack starts, one can expect simultaneous forcing of the #Dnieper by tactical landing not only from the #Kherson side but also from the line #Dudchany - Zolotaya Balka - #Maryanskoye - #Pokrovskoye line, where 121st and 129th TD Brigades have taken up positions.

The most combat-ready forces of the 71st Brigade were given the task of assaulting #Energodar from two sides, #Nikopol and #Marganets. In theory, this will allow taking control of the #ZNPP and provide a bridgehead for the landing of a larger group to break through to #Crimea.

🔹The Russian Command is well aware of the impending Ukrainian operation. Therefore, the equipment of defensive positions at the #ZNPP and around its territory is a completely logical step.

It is necessary to strengthen not only the area of the NPP and #Energodar, but also the coastal line from Bolshaya Lepetikha to #Dneprorudny and #Vasilyevka. The #Kakhovka reservoir is quite extensive, and attacks can occur at any site.

🔴 In #Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut), the Wagner PMC continues to advance in the high rise development on the western outskirts of the city. On the flanks (positions of the RF Armed Forces), the enemy's incursion into our defence has been localised, and a number of positions have been recaptured.

▪️ In the #Belgorod and #Kursk regions border areas, several skirmishes with the enemy are reported to have taken place during the night. Probably, we are talking about SRGs.

▪️ In #Zaporozhye and #Kherson directions there are artillery duels, our aviation is involved. According to the estimates of the enemy General Staff, the RF Armed Forces carried out air strikes in the areas of #Gulyaypole, Malaya Tokmachka, #Stepnogorsk, #Kizomis and #Stanislav during the day.

📃 Reports that the enemy in the #Orekhov direction is using expensive MLRS HIMARS to strike at the front edge of our defence indicate that the AFU intends to focus its main efforts on breaking through in this front section.

🗓 Earlier, in 2022, a similar tactic, which also included up to 5-7 advancing waves of the AFU, was used in the #Kherson direction in the Zolotaya Balka - #Dudchany section.

📌 This time, the RF Armed Forces organised communications and ammunition delivery better, so that the enemy was unable to achieve any successes in the course of the last day after suffering sensitive losses for the advanced groups.

💬 The answer was given by the Turned on Z war🇷🇺: Over the last period, the RF Armed Forces have destroyed 42 enemy armored personnel carriers. These are only the losses of the AFU confirmed in the photo, not all photos have been studied yet.
