🔹 According to preliminary data, the fighters of the RF Armed Forces managed to hit a rare German IRIS-T air defence system with a Lancet. When the objective control footage confirms the defeat of the machine, then this is one of the most effective attacks of this drone type in terms of the price/cost ratio of the affected target.

🔹 At the same time, largescale flooding continues in the #Kherson region after the destruction of the #Kakhovskaya HPP. The water level has decreased in Novaya Kakhovka, but the settlements downstream of the #Dnieper are still almost completely filled. The RF Ministry of Emergency Situations and Russian volunteers are working in the region to help civilians.

🔹 At the same time, at the Dnepr Hydroelectric Power Station in #Zaporozhye, the Ukrainian authorities opened all four locks, massively dumping water down the #Dnieper, which could lead to the transformation of the #Kherson region into a swamp.

🗓 For the 3 day in a row the situation in the #Kherson region flood zone remains difficult. The water level is dropping rapidly in Novaya Kakhovka and #Gornostayevka, but in #Alyoshki and Golaya Pristan it is still at 12m.

▪️ The #Kherson region administration believes the water will remain at a high level for about 10 more days.

▪️ Authorities managed to evacuate about 6,000 people from the disaster zone. But, unfortunately, the death toll has risen to 8.

▪️ Water supply to #Kherson region #Ivanovo municipality may be restricted due to the incident.

▪️ On the #Dnieper right bank the situation also remains difficult. The water is still holding in #Kherson and other communities. Moreover, 30 settlements have already been flooded downstream in #Nikolayev region.

▪️ According to the British Guardian, the Ukrainian authorities are unhappy that Western countries have still not supported their version that the facility was blown up by #Russia.

🇺🇳 The #UN believes that the circumstances of the HPP destruction are still "too unclear" the incident to be qualified in any way.

🇪🇺 But that did not stop Josep Borrell, head of the EU External Action Service, to accuse #Russia in a non-substantiated manner. However, the he added that he has no real evidence of #Russia's involvement.

▪️ Marat Khusnullin, deputy prime minister of the Russian government, believes that the destruction of the HPP will not affect the supply of drinking water to #Crimea.

▪️ Meanwhile, Russian rescuers and volunteers continue to work selflessly in the region, participating in the evacuation of victims and bringing them basic necessities.

🔹 And in #Zaporozhye there are heavy battles: the enemy is again coming in small groups time after time. And there is a justified opinion that Ukrainian formations are now attacking in waves - a similar tactic was tested during the Great Patriotic War.

Such tactics involve continuous attacks in groups from small to larger, followed by a breakthrough by larger forces in a number of places. Yes, at that a huge resource of both personnel and equipment is spent, but in the end, who will reckon with them there?

▪️ Ukrainian formations continue artillery preparations on the left bank of the #Dnieper River. About 30 shells were fired at Novaya Kakhovka, #Tavriysk, #Kakhovka and #Vasilyevka. During the day, residential buildings at the #Dnieper came under fire. A half-year old child was killed.

▪️ Due to the erosion of the #Dnieper riverbed and the actual destruction of the "grey zone" on the islands, there are more and more attempts by SRGs to enter Russian territory. 2 boats have been destroyed near Golaya Pristan, and up to 5 boats near #Alyoshki.

💥 Russian artillery destroyed another enemy group that had taken up residence in a hotel south of the Antonovsky Bridge.

▪️ Attempts by small sabotage groups through the grey zone on the islands continue. More than 10 such attempts have been recorded since the dam was breached. All of them were foiled and the enemy was dispersed by artillery and heavy machine gun fire.

Such actions serve the purpose of opening up the RF Armed Forces' defensive lines and keeping our troops in suspense while a strike is being prepared in another area.

▪️ In #Nikolayev and #Odessa, plans for an offensive deep into the #Kherson region are being worked out under the guidance of Western advisers. Russian forces estimate that strikes could be launched on the #Kinburn peninsula and upstream of the #Dnieper river northeast of the #Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station.
