🗓 Yesterday morning, units of the AFU's 131st Reconnaissance Battalion in two groups from #Olgovka and #Kazatskoye landed three dozen men on the north of #Pereyaslavsky (Kazatskoye) island.
🔹 The SRGs moved deep into the island to create a bridgehead for a subsequent strike on Novaya Kakhovka. The enemy did not expect resistance from Russian troops in the #Dnieper delta.
▪️ Russian units, after receiving intelligence information, moved to the landing area in advance. Therefore, the Ukrainian units waited. First, mines were detonated remotely, and then the reconnaissance teams of the RF Armed Forces, which were in ambush, with support of mortars and tanks from the left bank, started fighting.
▪️ Panic broke out in the ranks of 131st Separate Reconnaissance Battalion. The assault squads fled to the north of the island, abandoning the wounded and killed. On the shore, the groups took up a circular defence to await evacuation.
▪️ A boat that followed the ambushed forces of 131st Separate Reconnaissance Battalion was struck first by artillery, and then by a drone. The watercraft was flooded off the coast. A friend's boat was blown up by a mine to the northwest of the island.
▪️ In addition, Russian artillerymen destroyed one pickup truck with three people, which was carrying an evacuation group to the pier from #Otradokamenka.

Attacks in small groups are more like combat recon in anticipation of new, more powerful offensives. Ours have also noted the arrival of new equipment and try to counteract it. Several more units, including a Leopard, have been destroyed. The AFU became more active in remote mining of our rear areas, complicating supply.
🔹In #South Donetsk Direction, north of #Priyutnoye, our forces knocking the enemy out of landings 2.5 km from the village. So slowly our forces retake abandoned lines.
🔹In #Donetsk Direction, on the northern flank of #Avdeyevka, our army is fighting for control over the railway line near #Berdychi, the enemy tries to prevent this. Against the background of accumulation of enemy personnel on its bank of the #Dnieper, the AFU General Staff reports that during the day the RF Armed Forces carried out air strikes on #Olgovka, #Lvovo, #Tyaginka, #Tokarevka, #Ponyatovka, #Barvenka in the #Kherson region. Artillery and mortar strikes were carried out on #Ivanovka, #Stanislav in the #Kherson region and the city of #Kherson.
