⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Situation in the #Zaporozhye Direction until 17:00 on 30 September 2023⚡️
🔹 At the #Rabotino - #Verbovoye line the situation remains the same. Attempts of the enemy to cut in between the villages did not bring the expected success to the AFU. Separate clashes have been reported west of #Verbovoye, as well as in landings to the southwest.
▪️ Due to serious losses, the units of the 3rd Battalion of the 117th Mechanized Brigade and the 82rd Separate Air Assault Brigade were once again rotated. Reinforcements to replace them arrived the other day, including forces from the 65th Brigade.
▪️ It is with the forces of the 65th Mechanized Brigade that the AFU plans to storm the heights south of #Rabotino. Their location is advantageous for the defence of both #Novopokropovka and positions in the forest belts to the east, so the AFU though concentrate their efforts on them.
🔹 And if the fighting in the #Orekhov section has already become somewhat routine, the activation of Ukrainian formations in the direction of #Vasilyevka and #Pologi is a rather unique event for the last few months.
▪️ In the area of #Grigorovka, #Stepnogorsk and #Kamenskoye, the arrival of unidentified units has been noted, which are setting up control points in these villages.
▪️ Also near #Belogoriye several groups of the 82nd Separate Air Assault Brigade (our artillery is already working on them) have taken up positions. And the enemy aviation from the airfield in #Dnepropetrovsk began firing at rear facilities, including #Pologi.
📌 Such activity of the AFU in two areas indicates a possible attack on both #Vasilyevka and #Pologi. And in principle, given the problems at #Orekhov, this option is quite logical for stretching the front. Another question is whether the AFU will have enough reserves for a broad front offensive.
