🗓 Tonight (24-25 May 2023), the AFU tried 👉 once again to strike with drones on the Crimean peninsula. In total, seven Mugin-5 UAVs were used on objects in different parts of the Republic. Targeting was provided by the American RQ-4B UAV.
▪️ In the north of the peninsula, one UAV was planted by an EW unit near the village of #Steregushche. The drone could move further in the direction of #Dzhankoy or towards the airfield south of #Slavnoye.
In the north of #Dzhankoy, two "Mugins" were destroyed by air defence shooting squads at the #Mamut Railway Station. The AFU again intended to disrupt logistics with the #Kherson region.
Also, one UAV was suppressed near #Maslovo, and it was heading either further to the railway line or to military depots in the southeast. A Mugin-5 fell in the #Komsomolsk area on a warehouse.
▪️ In the south, one drone was destroyed near the village of #Zavetnoye. Its target was probably the water pumping station. The UAV was shot down by a firing squad a couple of hundred metres away.
Also, two Mugin-5 UAVs were shot down by a mobile air defence unit at the Russian Navy's Black Sea Fleet airfield near #Kacha. The drones were destroyed by small arms fire on approach.
📌 The Drone Attack was quite expected. On the eve of the raid in the air over the Black Sea , the following actions were 👉 carried out five reconnaissance aircraft of the US Air Force and the NATO Air Force.
In this case, it is more interesting how effectively the air defense units of the RF Armed Forces have adapted to regular attacks. If earlier anti-aircraft missiles were used, now most of the UAVs are shot down by shooting squads that have proven their effectiveness against low-flying targets.

▪️ On the #Zaporozhye front, fighting is taking place near #Rabotino, there are reports of the occasional presence of the enemy in the northern part of the village, and Stryker armoured vehicles, which were previously in reserve, are being used. Our Ka-52 was shot down near the village, the commander of the combat vehicle was ejected and the navigator was killed. Fighting is also taking place to the east, the enemy is tearing towards the #Novoprokopovka - #Verbovoye line.
▪️ In the #Vremyevka sector, the task of our troops is to prevent the breakthrough of the AFU on the line #Priyutnoye - #Zavetnoye, heavy fighting is going on.
▪️ South of #Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut) in the battles for #Kleshcheyevka the RF Armed Forces are engaged in active manoeuvre defence.
▪️ Near #Zaliznyanskoye in the #Soledar sector of the front, an AFU attack was crushed after an artillery strike by the RF Armed Forces.
▪️ West of #Kremennaya on the #Torskoye ledge, the AFU threw infantry into the battle without the cover of armoured vehicles, which may indicate that the enemy lacks armoured combat vehicles in this tactical direction. 🇷🇺 The RFAF, following the recent 👉 successes, knocked out the AFU from #Zhuravka and took control of the settlement (a few bushes still missing).
🟡 To the southeast, the Russians advanced in and at #Novozhelannoye.
🔴 Takeover Claims on #Novozhelannoye are ahead of the events because the village boundaries extend further west of #Zavetnoye, which itself has not yet been entered.
🔵 In the #Avdeyevka Direction, the front has shifted significantly to the west. #Pokrovsk (#Krasnoarmeysk) is located in the far northwest. To the southwest is #Selidovo, east of which out of the map is #Avdeyevka. The #Avdeyevka Direction has been renamed to #Pokrovsk Direction by some, as can also be seen on the map to the right on top.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Situation in Key Settlements in the #Avdeyevka Direction at the Beginning of 20 August 2024⚡️
🔴 In #Krasnogorovka - we continue to put pressure on the enemy in small groups in several areas, but so far without visible success.
🔴 In #Karlovka - we have completely occupied the northern part of the village and are already firing artillery from there, creating a direct threat to the enemy in the rest of the village beyond the reservoir.
🔴 #Zavetnoye - we slowly occupy it and create an encirclement around #Kamyshevka, from where the enemy is pulled back to #Ptichye.
🔴 In #Marinovka and #Novogrodovka - the Ukrops are throwing additional artillery in, but they did not have time to dig in properly.
🔴 In #KrutoyYar and #KrasnyYar - the enemy also threw additional forces in and also did not have time to fully dig in.
🔴 In #Grodovka - we methodically demolish the enemy's firing positions house by house and approach the centre of the village. The opponent simply has no chance.
📌 The Situation in the #Avdeyevka direction at the moment indicates the lack of strength of the enemy to patch holes in sagging defences, and the lack of strength we have in order to make a powerful leap forward, breaking through the positions of a weakened enemy and entering the operational space.

🎯During the night, the enemy's rear regions were hit with a combined strike by a Geranium UAV and rocket weapons. Explosions were reported in #Kiev, #Sumy, #Ternopil and #Khmelnitsky regions, in #Pavlograd in #Dnepropetrovsk region and in the AFU-occupied part of the #DPR (#Pokrovsk).
🔹In the #Kursk region, heavy fighting continues. The AFU is trying to expand their zone of control, and the enemy's destruction of bridges over the Seim River is designed to complicate the logistics of our troops and make it difficult to evacuate the local population. Enemy channels have already published satellite images of the pontoon crossings set up by our troops.
💥In the #Belgorod region, four civilians were wounded during the day as a result of AFU drone strikes and artillery shelling.

The penetration into the enemy defence along the front is up to 12 km and creates conditions for covering the enemy units to the south towards the Karlovskoye Reservoir. In this regard, the AFU began withdrawal of troops from the #Ptichye settlement.
