π In the Areas of #Novoselovskoye and #Kuzemovka, sluggish fighting has been taking place for a long time.
The first settlement has been abandoned by Russian troops because it it turned into ruins, which it is unprofitable to control. Units of the 1st Tank Army took up defensive positions in the forest plantations to the east of the railway line.
βͺοΈ According to our sources, all day yesterday Ukrainian formations tried to dislodge our units from the defence line to the west of #Kuzemovka. And they allegedly partially succeeded. But we decided to look into the situation and explain what is happening in this section of the front.
βοΈ At the headquarters of the western group of troops, nothing is known about the abandonment of the settlement, so we can only assume that in fact it is not about leaving the village, but moving to the reserve lines of defence.
πΉ If we analyze the map of this section of the front, then we can conclude from the terrain that in the event of a breakthrough or threat to the defending units, it is necessary to withdraw not to #Kuzemovka itself, but to nearby heights.
βͺοΈ #Kuzemovka is located in a lowland, and from the east it completely turns into a swamp.
βͺοΈ The news about the "abandonment" of #Kuzemovka can only mean that the defense units of the Taman Division occupied the surrounding heights, retaining fire control over #Kuzemovka itself and the corridor to the settlement.

But the reinforcements of the AFU arrived in time, as well as active fire support, forced the servicemen of the RF Armed Forces to retreat to their initial positions in #Kuzemovka.
βͺοΈ In another area north of #Kuzemovka, Russian reconnaissance groups squeezed out Ukrainian formations from positions near the railway, occupying an important bridgehead on the opposite side of the railway line.
βͺοΈ Assault groups of the 92nd AFU Brigade tried to counterattack from the #Berestovoye area in the direction of #Kuzemovka, but the attack was repulsed, and the Ukrainian formations were forced to retreat.
π At the moment, the line of contact mostly runs along the railway. #Kuzemovka is under the control of Russian troops. Having occupied an important height at the bend of the railway line, the RF Armed Forces created a springboard for further movement to #Novoselovskoye.

πΉ In the #Zaporozhye Direction, in the area of #Pyatikhatki and #Zherebyanka the AFU after a lull went on the attack by a group of about 30 people, some of them were broken by artillery, some of them went back to their initial lines. In the #Rabotino area, the AFU attacked, deepened about 500 metres, trying to gain a foothold. The units of the RF Armed Forces are fighting back with artillery.
πΉ In the #SouthDonetsk Direction, near #Rovnopol the RF Armed Forces repelled the AFU attacks. Our attempts to attack from the direction of #Urozhaynoye to #Blagodatnoye failed, the AFU fought back. Several AFU UAV command posts were destroyed in this area.
πΉIn the #Avdeyevka Sector, Russian units managed to establish control over the section of the road between #Orlovka and #Lastochkino, west of #Avdeyevka, supplying the AFU garrison in the city will become more difficult.
πΉ In the #Artyomovsk Direction, fierce fighting continues near #Kleshchiyevka and #Kurdyumovka.
