⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Situation in the #Starobelsk Direction at 15:00 on 12 Oct 2022⚡️

#Kupyansk Sector:

▪️ The AFU is developing an offensive against Russian positions near the village of #Olshany, where the 14th Mechanized Brigade was able to gain a foothold on the outskirts of the settlement.

▪️ At the same time, the Brigade's 1st Battalion advanced on the #Pershotravnevoye - #Orlyanka line to break through the Russian defences and approach #Olshany from the flank.

▪️ Formations of the AFU's 2nd Battalion of the 14th Brigade and the Kraken Nationalist Battalion managed to temporarily push the Russian troops out of the vicinity of #Kislovka and penetrate from the western edge of the settlement. However, the enemy was driven out of #Kislovka with heavy losses under fire from tank units and artillery of the Russian Forces.

▪️ The Russian Forces regained control of the front line of defence. During the fighting, more than 50 members of Ukrainian formations were eliminated and four tanks, three BMPs and three Kirpi APCs were destroyed.

▪️ On the left flank in the #Tavolzhansk sector, the AFU have taken up a defensive position and are rotating their personnel. The Ukrainian command has withdrawn its subordinate units from the #Dvurechnaya area due to a massive fire attack by Russian Forces.

▪️ An anti-aircraft missile division of the AFU´s 14th Brigade is deployed in #Dvurechnoye to protect against air attacks and to defend against Russian UAVs.

#Lyman - #Svatovo Section:

▪️ 60 men of the AFU's 118th Territorial Defence Brigade were deployed towards #Terny. Unfit personnel were evacuated to #Yampolovka. Several squads of English-speaking mercenaries were moved towards #Dibrovskoye.

▪️ In the areas of #Raygorodka, #Karmazinovka, #Rozovka, #Novolyubovka and #Makeevka, the enemy tried to recapture lost positions and cross the #Zherebets river. Russian soldiers repelled the attack and destroyed three BMPs, two BMPs and several dozen AFU personnel.

▪️ For the time being, Russian Forces managed to regain control of the left bank of the #Zherebets River. The settlement of #Torskoye is in the grey zone.

The Russian Armed Forces have again struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Today, targets were hit in #Sumy and #Dnipropetrovsk regions. Compared to the previous two days, the salvos were less massive, but work to overload the country's energy system continues.

#RussianFederation Territories:

▪️ The AFU shelled #Belgorod several times during the day, but all strikes were repelled by Russian air defences.

#Starobelsk Direction (MAP):

▪️ In the #Kupyansk direction, the enemy continued its offensive against the positions of the Russian Forces near #Olshany, where the 14th AFU Brigade was able to entrench around the village. At the same time, the enemy attacked on the line #Pershotravnevoye - #Orlyanka on order to reach #Olshany from the flank.

▪️ In the course of the day, fierce fighting took place around #Kislovka. Ukrainian formations initially gained control of the village, but then the Russian forces regained their lost positions. The enemy, in turn, suffered heavy losses of personnel and equipment.

▪️ In the #Tavolzhansky sector, the AFU hold a position defence and rotate their personnel. Russian Forces are engaging the enemy with massive firepower.

▪️ South in the #Lyman - #Svatovo section, Ukrainian formations tried to cross the #Zherebets River at #Raygorodka, #Karmazinovka, #Rozovka, #Novolyubovka and #Makeevka, but suffered losses and retreated.

#Soledar Direction:

▪️ The AFU command is preparing for another Russian offensive in the #Kodema - #Kurdyumovka and #Klinovoye - Krasnaya Gora areas, which if successful would result in the blockade of #Bakhmut (#Artemovsk) from the northeast and south.

▪️ Position fighting continues in the outskirts of #Bakhmut and #Soledar. Russian Forces launched missile strikes on an AFU position near #Bakhmut railway station.

#Lugansk Region:

▪️ Ukrainian militants struck #Troitsky and #Artemovsk(?). Several people were killed in the settlements and civilian infrastructure was damaged.

#Donetsk Direction:

▪️ Enemy artillery again shelled #Donetsk, #Makeevka, #Gorlovka, #Yasinovataya, #Zaitsevo and other populated areas in the #Donetsk agglomeration.

#Zaporozhye Direction (MAP):

▪️ The Ukrainian command is finalising preparations for a massive offensive in the area. Soldiers of the 65th Brigade of the AFU Reserve Corps conducted a reconnaissance battle near #Novoaydarovka, but, hit by massive artillery fire, suffered losses and retreated.

▪️ Ukrainian formations are strengthening their defences near #Dorozhnyanka and preparing SRGs for a raid on Russian Forces' positions near #Marfopol.

▪️ There remains a high risk of an enemy landing near #Energodar, both from #Nikopol and Zolotaya Balka.

#Andreevka and #Berislav Sections at Southern Front(MAP):

▪️ In the #Andreevka sector, units of the 35th Infantry Brigade attempted to storm Russian positions on the #Kostromka - #Ishchenka line, but suffered losses and retreated. New crossings across the #Ingulets are beiong used to supply the group.

▪️ In the #Berislav area, the AFU are preparing a new offensive and moving reserves to the front line.

#Kupyansk Sector:

▪️ Artillery units of the 14th AFU Brigade are massively shelling the borderline #Olshana - #Pervomayskoye - #Orlyanka - #Yagodnoye. Targeting is done by reconnaissance drones and SRGs at #Ivanovka.

▪️ To cover the ground grouping in #Kupyansk in the area west of #Yagodnoye, a short-range air defence system calculation as well as several mobile air defence units with man-portable air defence systems are operating.

#Svatovo Sector:

▪️ Assault commandos of the 2nd Battalion of the AFU's 92nd Mechanized Brigade launched an offensive towards #Stelmakhovka.

In the course of intense fighting, the Ukrainian formations consolidated on the western outskirts and advanced further towards #Kuzemovka. UAV calculations detected the AFU movement and Russian artillery and TOS strikes pushed the 92nd Mechanized Brigade back to its initial positions. (Note: Consolidation at #Stelmakhovka is also history).

#Lyman Sector:

▪️ Reinforcements arrived at the #Novolyubovka - #Ivanovka line to reinforce the 25th Airborne Brigade of the AFU.

▪️ After an artillery barrage, a company of the 25th Airborne Brigade, reinforced with armoured vehicles, tried to break through towards #Chervonopopovka. Russian soldiers repulsed the attack.

▪️ Russian artillery struck the positions of the 25th Brigade in this area, killing two men and wounding 15 Ukrainian paratroopers.

#Lysychansk Sector:

▪️ Fighting is taking place in the #Belogorovka area. The AFU command has rotated personnel and wounded personnel of the 122nd Battalion of the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade. Several small UAVs are operating at the #Serebryanka - #Belogorovka line.

▪️ A separate group of 81th Separate Airmobile Brigade conducted a reconnaissance battle on the Russian position near #Zolotarevka. Artillery fire stopped the advance and the Ukrainian SRG withdrew.

🇺🇸 The US after 10 months of air defense may still decide to train the AFU soldiers on the mainland. The training of Ukrainian Patriot missile defence units is already under consideration, which is logical, as no one will send American units to 404. But the training will take a long time, which means that Washington intends to continue provoking an escalation of the conflict. Sooner or later it may come to deliveries of American aircraft and heavy armoured vehicles, but the US will not deliver modern weaponry, as much must not fall into #Russia's hands.

⚔️ The Situation on the Fronts over the Passing Day

♦️#Svatovo - #Kremennaya Direction:

The Russian army struck militant strongholds near #Kislovka, #Krakhmalnoye and #Berestovoye in the #Kharkov region. Also, in the area of #Nevskoye and #Novolyubovka in the LPR, the enemy's manpower and equipment accumulations were hit by attack aviation. In addition, two Ukrainian SRGs were destroyed in the areas of #Serebryansk forestry and the #Medvezhye tract in the LPR.

♦️#Ugledar Direction:

Up to 45 militants, four APCs and three pickups were destroyed in the areas of #Prechistovka, #Novomayorskoye and #Vodyanoye DPR thanks to the actions of our artillery.

💥 A Ukrainian Su-25 was shot down near Orekhovo-Vasilyevka in the DPR, as well as an enemy Mi-8 was destroyed near #Kramatorsk.

💥 An American AN/TPQ-50 radar was destroyed near Ivano-Daryevka, the DPR. Also, a radar from an S-300 SAM system was uncovered and destroyed near #Kharkov.

💡 Today is the day of the Long Range Aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces. And on this occasion it is worth telling about the steel bird defending the Russian seas - the Tu-22M3. 🇺🇸 The US think-tank RAND has released a paper analysing possible US strategy in the event that the Ukrainian conflict does lead to a clash between the two superpowers. But only an attack by #Russia on #NATO countries is taken into account, despite attempts to provoke an escalation of the conflict specifically on the part of US satellite states. And in the case of a real conflict, the response from the US and its allies should include a wide range of tools, from cyber attacks to strikes against the Russian grouping in #Ukraine. Of course, according to RAND, which manages not only information, but also Pentagon money.

⚔️ The Situation on the Fronts in the outgoing 24 Hours

♦️#Svatovo - #Kremennaya Direction:

Our forces have worked on militant units in the areas of #Sinkovka, #Kislovka and #Timkovka in the #Kharkov region. In addition, Russian artillery rolled out four AFU tactical groups in the vicinity of #Nevskoye, #Novolyubovka LPR and #Terny DPR.

♦️#Ugledar Direction:

The Russian army defeated units of the AFU as well as foreign mercenaries near #Ugledar. A Nazi SRG was also destroyed near #Vladimirovka.

💥 Two US M777 systems and a German FH-70 howitzer, from which Nazis were shelling peaceful #Donetsk, were destroyed near #Krasnogorovka in the DPR. Also, three Msta-B artillery systems were destroyed in the districts of #Petropavlovka in #Kharkov region, #Berestovoye DPR and #Chernobayevka in #Kherson region.

💡 In the #Avdeyevka direction, our fighters are going on a rapid offensive, which greatly demoralizes the Ukrainian militants. As a result, the AFU is suffering heavy losses here. Readovka has footage of one of the battles in which a militant abandoned by his colleagues filmed his own death on camera.

🤥 Despite endless false claims of victory, Kiev is very worried about a possible offensive. In the north of the country, the AFU is mining and reinforcing positions. These developments hint at an imminent change in the nature of the SMO.

🏵 The ambiguous situation in #Belarus, the success in #Soledar, as well as personnel changes in the special operations command are clear signals of a dramatic change in the situation on the front. The "freeze" did not happen.

⚔️The Situation on the Fronts for the past Day

♦️#Svatovo - #Kremennaya Direction:

Our artillery and army aviation worked on militant positions in the vicinity of #Kislovka, #Berestovoye in #Kharkov region and #Novoselovskoye in the LPR. Also in the districts of #Kislovka, #Olshana, #Tabayevka, #Krakhmalnoye and #Pershotravnevoye of #Kharkov region, five Ukrainian SRGs were liquidated. Additionally, in the areas of #Stelmakhovka, #Novolyubovka, #Nevskoye LPR, #Serebryanka and #Grigorovka DPR, the RF Armed Forces combined active combat operations with complex fire attacks inflicted major losses on the AFU.

♦️#Soledar Direction:

In #Soledar, the mopping-up of urban hideouts where the militants' strongholds have been set up is ongoing. Fighting for the Sol railway station continues. Also, according to information from the field, the AFU is regrouping in the area of #Seversk and west of #Soledar. Despite rumours of attempts by the Kiev regime to regain control of the town, the Ukrainian commanders should acknowledge that the town is lost to them.

♦️#Ugledar Direction:

Up to 30 militants and five vehicles were destroyed in the areas of #Novomikhailovka, #Prechistovka and #Novosyolka in the DPR by fire.

💥Russian Aerospace Forces fighter aircraft shot down a Ukrainian Su-25 near #Nikanovka in the DPR. Also, an US AN/TPQ-50 radar was eliminated near #Lozovoye DPR.

🔹 In the #Ugledar Section, the AFU managed to reach #Priyutnoye. Attacks on #Staromayorske and #Novodonetskoye were repelled by Russian troops.⚠️
